  1. Good job on it. I hope you are right about it being released again, I need a few more in my stash.
  2. That is the AMT kit? For being simple, they still build up good. I got mine low, and it was not as easy as some may think.. LOL My build on this kit..

    75 Torino

My favorite build of this kit so far
  4. I love all the detail paint work and you are doing a great job on this kit, but it is far from correct. The body has a ton of flaws that make the built kit look wonky.
  5. Thinking outside the box.... I like that. Looks pretty sharp, and I really like the flames.
  6. This build (and story) just keeps getting better. Outdoor pics make that Chevy "pop"
  7. This is more along the lines of Artwork than actual model building! Fantastic
  8. Love her color choices on this. Your paint work is super impressive. Cannot wait to see it done! PS, turn the oil pan around or it will not sit in the frame correctly (Sump and filter to rear)
  9. Looking great! Be sure to get the resin tail light panel for it.
  10. Sweet... mine is green also, not that green of course.
  11. I must say, the change to the hood makes it look so much better overall, Looks great
  12. Wish i could be of more assistance, but my 1:1 is in storage right now.
  13. I have always liked this kit. Looking really good, Front looks great. I love the color and tire wheel combo. For future reference, the distributor goes to the drivers side more. You mounted where the radiator expansion tank should be mounted. Normal location on FOMOCO engines. Just an FYI tho....

    71 mustang

Nice job on a horrible kit.
  15. Very cool, one of my favorite stock cars and street car too. Little rivet counting for you, the hood is incorrect. The center has a peak and the scoops are too short and narrow.
  16. Not sure, I am sure someone here knows. I stopped selling on there years ago because fees were just eating me up, then they changed the format so I was definitely out. Go to ebay motors and search 1972 Mercury Montego. You will get 50,000+ results. Mostly screws, seat covers, steering wheel covers and other BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH. Before I would be lucky to get 100 results.
  17. Cool build. Love the old Model A's. Stance is great, wheels look great, and the Cleveland is icing on the cake. I do the same with my Ford Hot Rods therefore have an entire box of SBC engines. Small side story, a friend used to street race in California in the mid 80's. Told me when someone showed up with something Cleveland powered, the SBC guys usually wouldn't run against them. The Pontiac and BB Mopar guys were the ones to step up.
  18. Been watching and the prices were up there a bit. $60 and higher
  19. That helps clear things up. Thanks
  20. Okay, that is the one I was thinking of. Was released as a "basic builder" also. Thanks, I changed my wanted post. The current 76 Stepside isn't mis-labelled as a 1/24 is it?
  21. The Basic Builder, not the current release, correct?
  22. I looked and see the difference. Thanks I am not against some surgery on the fenders.
  23. This may be better suited elsewhere, if so, sorry. I am wanting to backdate the Deserter to a 78. #1, is it possible? (I am a FOMOCO guy and GM are out of my knowledge zone) #2, Anybody make a replacement grill from the MPC 78 Chevy stepside in resin? I know Revell offers the Big Game 78 Chevy, but it is 1/24 and I am doing a group build with other 1/25 cars and trucks. Thanks
  24. Mine also has the formal roof with smaller rear glass. Here is a shot of one with the standard roof.
  25. 1987 Mercury Grand Marquis to be exact.
