  1. Thanks Clayton, but my wife says that I never use my noggin.(LOL)
  2. Very nice build of one of my favorite trucks! Looks like it came straight from the brochure.
  3. Thanks!!! Thanks Mark: the interior panels were made out of Plastruct sheet #91539 1/8 square panels cut diagonally. They actually work pretty well.
  4. Welcome to the Forum Neil.
  5. Welcome to the Forum Brian. 10-4 on the need for the stress relief. Can't wait to see your work.
  6. WOW!! Excellent Work!!! Very realistic. Nice detail!
  7. Mike, Sam and I went through this as well. There is another thread on here that Sam started that helped us both. If you are using Photobucket, simply click on the block marked image, then paste on your post. You will not see the photo until it posts, but that fixed our problem. Hope this helps....Brian
  8. A little more done on the engine. Air filters mounted, P/S pump added, Alt. ran off of rear Acc. drive (Yes that's a Mopar Alt.). The highest HP rating for a 6v-71T road application was about 285HP @‌ 2100rpm. There were however Marine application 6v-71TA (A is for aftercooler) engines that produced 430HP @‌ 2500rpm. So without the aftercooler but a second turbo added I still believe between 430 and 500 hp @‌ 2800 rpm could be squeezed out of this one with the addition of a few internal modifications that is common among tractor pullers. Regardless of the HP, I think it still looks kind of cool anyway.
  9. Very nice Build! Nice detail!!!
  10. That's a very nice 359!! Very nice work indeed!!!
  11. Depending on what you are wanting to build, many of the third axles you will find are tag axles. If you are wanting to make a non-driven tag axle, moluminum.com is probably where you will want to check. They have both steerable and non-steerable tag axles. Hope this helps...Brian
  12. A real Master Piece! I like it !!!
  13. Gator you called it right. I was hoping to avoid a body lift, but as you can see the hood is not going to shut, and oddly enough I wanted to maintain a stock hood. So this one will be getting a body lift as well. At least the tires shouldn't rub (LOL) Thanks again to all who have commented....Brian
  14. Thanks Kevin, I had tested the Ground Hawgs from the Mad Mudder before, and they weren't really what I was looking for on this build, but I'm sure they will be used on another project. Sam, Mike, Gator and everyone who has commented, Thanks for the comments. I hope to make some more progress this week.
  15. Terry, I like this truck more every time that I see it. Where did that grill come from?
  16. Incredible work as always!!!!
  17. Nice work on the paint. K100s are one of my favorites!
