  1. I like it! The weathering is spot on!!
  2. I really like the paint scheme!! The 5 hole drives are a nice touch too! The stinger finishes this one off. Great work!
  3. Another Awesome looking Dodge from your bench! Excellent work!
  4. This is on an extended Louisville dump chassis. It is a Dans Models resin cab. The engine is a scratch built 6v-53 Detroit diesel. The transmission is a 5 speed Spicer main with a 4 speed auxiliary. The front wheels are from the Ford C cab. The drive wheels and two piece rear tires are from an old Ertl IH kit. The bed sides and floor are aluminum. Thanks to “leafsprings” for the build sheet. I tried to keep it as close to that as I could.
  5. I like the color! Nice build!
  6. I think that I might be done with this one. I will take some outside pictures tomorrow.
  7. Very cool! Thanks for posting the picture! Thanks!!
  8. Thanks for all of the comments guys! I have a little more progress. Engine is done: Interior is done. It seems that someone needs to clean out the trash:
  9. That cab mount looks great! Engine looks just right in there!
  10. Looks awesome! Very bright for sure! Excellent work!
  11. I like the color! The addition of the air to air, the train horn and the rear window are nice touches!
  12. Looks great! I would have to build a bigger house.?
  13. Thanks Charles! I really considered cutting the fenders loose, but I was concerned about making a bad situation worse. The attachment point at the cab is very thick, while all the outer panels are very thin. The grill area is so thin that light shows through before paint. I was concerned that I would shatter the front grill area while sawing the fenders loose. This resin is very brittle. Sometimes I have to know my limitations. I’m not building it as new. I’m building it as having some wear on it. Thanks again! Your advice is always appreciated.
  14. Thanks guys! I have a little more done.
  15. This is one awesome build! Your craftsmanship, your accuracy, your weathering, all are excellent! I’ve been wanting to build a semi wrecker and sling. I have a lot of experience using a 1ton sling, and you pretty much nailed it. I may take some notes here and try my semi wrecker project soon.
  16. Looks awesome! I like the seats and window stickers! Real authentic!
  17. Wow!! I can’t even begin to describe how cool this build is!! All “Red Power!” I like it!! Excellent work as always!! Nice conversion on the trailer too! Finishing in 2 months, Wow!! Looks amazing! I really like this one!
