  1. Scrooged Christmas Story. Home Alone. (My Grandson's favorite) The original Grinch movie, w/ Thurl Ravenscroft!
  2. Great Build, Brian. You inspire me, on my long-stalled build.
  3. Looks Good. You can never have enough Jet Cars!
  4. I was in the last one, and never finished the build. I still have a box full of parts I collected. I'll try to get a car completed this time, so count me in. For those keeping track, it is a 1934 Ford. I wonder if a Stutz Bearcat would work? Edited to add: I found the kit, I had started. I still have my P2P Decals and Car Roundels w/ Entry number. I was #5. Found a started '32 Ford Phaeton too. Which to build? Finish the '34 or start the '32? Decisions, Decisions........
  5. Given how badly shipping is snarled right now, my guess is that the webmasters have just stopped showing items until the kits are actually in the warehouse, ready to be shipped. I could easily be wrong about this.
  6. Casey, as you said, I'll keep my fingers crossed. I've got a 'Mud Mudder', not sure what year that come out, but that is the last time I think that the Blazer tool saw plastic. I wonder if Atlantis has this tool? It is a sibling of the GMC Snowplow/ Big Country Game Truck and the recent '76 Chevy Stepside kit, but a different tool. I think Revell has the Bronco and the Ramcharger SUV's, but the whereabouts of the Blazer tooling are very uncertain. Ah, well, We have the AMT Blazer/Jimmy twins from the previous body style. Best to be happy with that, I guess.
  7. Thanks for the answer! It sure looks perfect.
  8. Looks superb. Thanks for the answer on the wheels.
  9. Way to go! I remember seeing many Forest Service trucks like this, back when we used to go camping at Yosemite and the Redwoods. Those were the days. I miss them.
  10. Fantastic Builds. As others have said, great choice of colours! I remember seeing racing setups in similar bright colours many years ago, in my teens. I like seeing both Buggy's in one shot.
  11. Great Build. What kit did you take the 4x4 parts from? It's hard to see the wheels, so I can't make a good guess.
  12. Black Headers were a great choice, Bob. It looks clean and sharp, ready to start the season. It has a nice vibe to the finished product.
  13. Thanks, Mark. Good to know.
  14. A (bad) copy of the instructions. Casey is correct. Hardest parts to fab would be the (smaller) Rollbar and the wood push bumper. Rims look like something Monogram used in many of their 1970's kits, so should be fairly easy to find. Most may be chromed, however. The AMT '65 Chevelle Wagon and '70 Ford Police car kits have wooden Push bumpers, that should only need trimmed to work. Hardest part is Decals, and there are scans of those to be found. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/monogram-instructions/monster-trucks--pullers/monogram-mojave-mule-/?view=roll
  15. I can see a whole lot of Ford Haulers on contest tables, and a few Dodge and Chevy Haulers, too. This will be very nice.
  16. The Mooneyes might fit, but I agree with Dave, about anything longer.
  17. Hey! You will get a USPS Pinto in 2022! Time to celebrate. These past few years have been a regular Extravaganza of Pinto and Vega kits, after years of drought! Bruce Larson, & Pintera kits, and more.
  18. Any idea on 'when' in 2022, that we will see the new Keeler Kustoms kit? At least we know what tires it will have. And, will the AMT Parts Pack Piecrust slicks fit these Atlantis rims?
  19. It would be really great if there were some Stock wheelcovers available for this kit, somewhere.
  20. Coke decals, but no extras. No Crates of bottles, no Coke Machine, or anything else. I don't see much in this box to excite me. Sorry, this issue will be only for Die-Hard Fans. Of Coke, or '40 Fords.
  21. Steve, that USPS Pinto pic you posted looks exactly like the one I had. (Minus the striping) It was a miserable little roach of a car. But it got decent mileage. I could get better than 25 mpg around town. I one way, I still wish I had it. With at 44 mile round trip to work, it would be nice to have.
  22. Nice to have you back!
  23. And our own Faust's take on the same kit. https://adamrehorn.wordpress.com/revell-1-16-movin-out-big-rig-street-van-oob/
  24. Those Chrome Trees are Cousins, but not the same. Awfully small, though. I hope maybe there will be 2 sets of chrome wheels at least in the new kit.
  25. I let my FSM Scrip lapse. Just not enough content in the mag, and digital is a dead-end for hobby mags. Despite Jim King's rosy picture, Kalmbach's web content has been hard to access and only fair when you can manage to log in. The whole "E-magazine" thing will only work when access is almost effortless, and FSM is not there yet. In fact, they've never been close, in all the years I've been aware of the site. The forums are poor and the moderators have a very heavy hand. All in all, at least for me, as a paying FSM customer, the ROI in cyberspace has negative the whole time. I won't be back. (All opinions are solely my own. Your Mileage May Vary.)
