is there a bigger version of this photo? I can barely make out the Autocar, and can't really tell what else is there.

Could we please get at least the grille, wheels and push bar from the Scout SSII in this kit? Better, can we have the whole SSII kikt back. That would open my wallet fast! [edit] P.S. Any body know if the grille is different in the two kits? Box art makes it look different, but I've never seen the SS in plastic, so I don't know. In fact is there a scan of the Scour SSII instructions? I've never seen those either.

1/25 AMT 1966 Ford Fairlane GT/GTA Hardtop

This is a great 1990's tooled kit, but completely free of options other that the Manual/Auto trans. Even Round2's own features list is thin. I wish that Round2 had combined this and the 427 version in one box. As it is, this is a case where Pad Printed tires and an updated (but still tiny) decal sheet are not enough to get me to pull the trigger. I hope it sells well, but I'll be waiting for next quarters announcements. -
Man, I want one of those Plymouth Savoys. I'm sure the only resin kit of that body style came from the now defunct Modelhaus....... Maybe I'll see one at a swap meet someday.

1. Sow's Ear to Silk Purse! 2. Gil Costa, as soon as you complete your build, Revell will announce a new tool kit. The world waits for you.

A great Build! Unusual subject matter, well executed.

I saw an article about these racers in a 1-1 car magazine and wondered when I see one modeled. Your's is superb! I like the vibe. Looks like it is ready for a cover photo.

Where'd you get the shrink ray? Awesome, looks like what you'd see at a car show in Los Angeles.

Wow! A winner for sure! Alan Alexis

Can't sleep either, 'eh, Delton? I agree with what you say.

It would be really nice to have the scoop back. I need a couple of these. I've got plenty of the coupes and SD's but only one sedan. Looking forward to this. Any Idea when it is supposed to hit the shelves?

Just a Great Build! Leaves me speechless. -
That's a real disappointment. Not sure who greenlit this product, or who thought it would sell. Would have been nice if they had asked some of us if we'd buy it, before they produced it. Saves me some money though to spend on something else. What hurts me most is that if this set is a flop, it will be used as ammunition in the never-ending "but Parts Packs don't sell" Wars.

Oh, I'll wind up with at least a pair of them. One to build Bone Stock and the other to play with.

Are we ever going to get the Revell 30 model A back?

Dave B, I thought I was the only that watched that show any more. Thank Goodness for HULU! -
Any grooves on the tires, or are they smooth donuts?
-
Luc, the two bits I read about mention widening the CJ hood, and narrowing the Jeepster hood. Not sure which would be best.

Other than the 'High Roller" suspension and wheels, and the added back gun rack, it IS the Plow kit. Right down to the silly '57 Chevy style F.I. unit. After viewing Chris's excellent video review, I'll pass on this one. Luc, you and I are 180 degrees apart one our view on the boxart on this kit. I think it is even worse than the horrible art on the '76 Torino. Glad someone likes it.

CJ-5 hood is too narrow.

Time for a re-post of the "How-To" for backdating to the older style nose. The Inner Fenders and the older grill are in the kit. Not quite sure how to pull it off though. Maybe someone will resin cast the hood. It Looks to be the biggest issue with the conversion.
