  1. Thanks, Mr. Moto.
  2. Kool! Bangers Rule!
  3. Now THIS is a Race Car. Superlative build of a seldom seen kit. I'd have never thought of this. Which Jimmy Flintstone body did you start with? It looks Model T ford to my eye.
  4. Ummmmm, Sure different!
  5. These are great builds. And even better are the stories that go with each build. Outstanding Work!
  6. Wow! A stunning Rod. What did you use for the Velocity Horns on the Carbs? They Don't look injection molded.
  7. What a thoughtful gift. I'm sure your Dad will like it.
  8. About the Colour. So many of the real trailers I've seen are black. That makes yours look all the more real. A correct choice, IMHO. Great Job.
  9. You know, substitute two regular bucket seats for the Cobra Seats, and it would make a nifty Street Rod! The rest pf it looks great. Now, Where can I find some 1/16 bucket seats.........?
  10. A further check of the Bed Buggy directions does no show any lenses (glass) for the Woodlites in the Kit. So Round2 can sell just the Chrome Tree and you'll have all you need. Neat! It'll never happen but it's a good idea, I think.
  11. Yeah, the Woodlite headlights alone my prompt a buy. Round2 should think about just selling the chrome tree with those lights by itself. I'd be in for a bunch, just for those Woodlites.
  12. Amen, Casey. The Corvair Based Barris T, is a decent but not great Show Rod, and as common as dirt right now. I have two sealed issues that have been to to three swapmeets and not sold. Looking at the instructions for the Bed Buggy explain why Round2 is doing this. The Chassis and powerplant for both kits are the same. Round2 has either found and restored, or retooled the Bed Buggy parts, and the Barris T parts are close at hand. Voila, a New kit. Good For Round2. This will lower the insane eBay prices for another kit.
  13. I like the way the Fenders look too, but to my eye the rear tires are a touch too big. Other than that it looks killer!
  14. I've been putting off starting a Chopped T Coupe build my self. This motivates me to drag out the box and give it a try. Thanks!
  15. I'll be watching as well. Great Colour Choice, I say.
  16. I'll wind up with one of these. I hope the Decal Sheet has the correct markings. Every other nit-pick I can live with. Even the wrong sleeper.
  17. Yeah, there were a number of those that had homebuilt cabs. Your build captures the 'look' perfectly.
  18. Talk about a Home Run! What a great build, and the story of your growing skills as a builder makes it so much better. Keep up the good work.
  19. So far this year, Round2 has had just one kit I want. the '49 Ford. It is a long awaited reissue, but I see that Round2 dropped one set of tires from it, so that there are no "modern" tires to use on the Custom Wheels. The Stock tires in the kit will work for the re-tooled 'Reactor" wheels, but that is all. No Biggie if you have a stash of kits to grab another set of tires from, but bad for the newbie. This Feb list is lackluster (at least to me) but I await the March list to see what is on it.
  20. Wow, that is an Eye Popping Red, Misha. Your work on this kit is outstanding.
  21. Great Colour Choice!
  22. Brodie, if you have only dealt with modern kits, the MPC kit from 30 years ago, will be a huge change of pace.MPC was known for dodgy fit, and odd quirks in the parts, but are beloved to those of us who grew up with them. AS far as fit goes, Test Fit EVERYTHING! Files, Sandpaper and Sanding Blocks will be your friends on an MPC build. That said, after cleanup fit should be OK. Not like a new Revell or Tamiya, but not bad. The Body is nice but has some mold lines that will need cleaning up. If you choose to use the T-tops you will need to exercise your "Modeling Skills". This version of the kit is clean and well done, and the Chrome tree is smooth and very shiny. (Unlike the bad old days). For another Fan's take on MPC Kits, I recommend looking up Adam Rehorn's (Faust) "Sprue Lagoon" website. You can spend hours there reading his stuff.
  23. That just screams "Home-Run Build" Your colour choices are perfect for the era. Great Build!
  24. Neat! I've seen the Gassifiers in 1/35 scale, but never in 1/25. Great Job!
  25. I really like the wheels. They look great on this car. What are they from?
