  1. Well, I've not built the Tamiya NSX kit, but I have driven the real thing in 1990. Does that count?
  2. I'm looking for a Longbed Stepside for the AMT 1960-61 Chevy. Does your outfit make one? I'm trying to replicate the truck I learned to drive in.
  3. My Guess is that the P/Shaker will feature the 'easy to fix' parts, but that most of the first issue custom parts are really gone. That said, this is a fairly iconic kit, so I suspect that it will wind up fairly nice. P.S. Hey Ron, I don't have enough '57 kits. Got any spare one (grin) LOL
  4. Pepper Shaker! Great. At least I can get some fresh decals. The Gremlin X, a firm mebbe. Have to see what it looks like. The rest, a huge, steaming bowl of industrial strength 'Meh'.......... I'm in for the '59 Elky though.
  5. At 54, I'm one year away from AARP territory and I have the Junk Mail Flyers from AARP to prove it. They are up to about one flyer every three weeks. On the Other Hand, still no pics from Revell? I hope they don't drag out the wait until August. Round2 hasn't posted anything to the Collector Model site since June 29th. In today's online world anything less than a once a week update is just really slow.
  6. Any news on this kit? I'm ready to get one.
  7. UDLX was my first thought when I saw the first photo. I just could not remember the name of it. Thanks for helping my memory, Tim.
  8. So Nice! I really like the look of this car.
  9. Great News, Sam. Put me down for a body. (and grill if you do one of those)
  10. I'm with Rob Mattis on the Desoto Grill. A Caddy Eggcrate style would look nice too. I wonder what the Aftermarket will come up with. I can already visualize a Fastback Resin Body and some alternate grill treatments. This looks like another great Custom Car canvas to play with. Bravo Revell.
  11. I love these! What great machines.
  12. Wheels and Frame from the Beverly Hillbillies Olds might work with the Beer Wagon. I've got about five of the Olds kits, but no Beer Wagon, or I'd try test fitting them myself.
  13. Mike, I saw what you did there!
  14. That is a 1960-61 GMC. Great Project!
  15. Thanks, for sharing those pics. I'd have never guessed they were that spread out. Now I'm really, really curious to see what the "Ice Patrol Jeep" has in it.
  16. Well, the snow PLOW is a separate set of self contained sprues in the '77 GMC kit. Even bagged by themselves, so in theory at least, could be added to any kit. I've not seen the Arctic Cat snow MOBILE, but I suspect that it is a small set of sprues also. Therefore, Revell could drop either or both sets into to any pickup kit in order to add "flavour" so to speak, and call it a "new" kit. I am all in favour of this kind of thing. These smaller extras are getting hard to find, and throwing them into a kit guarantees a sale to me. I would not mine seeing the long lost Camper Shell and roof mounted driving lights come back either.
  17. Argh! I know all about Different Strokes and all that, but that is one Butt Ugly Car now! Not Quite a Rat, but Not finished either. I'll be glad when this Fad passes.
  18. Oh Boy! Some nice kits coming. I can't wait to see pics!
  19. It was still listed at Revell.com last month. You may have to try getting it from them.
  20. Since the engine is a Big Block Chevy 'Rat' motor, I suspect that any BB Valve Cover will work. As always though, test fit everything.
  21. I'm with you Nick. Nobody but me ever looks underneath anyways.
  22. My local HL has sold out now on the Bronco and the Foose '56. I am assured by the clerk stocking the aisle that they will be getting. She told me that they have sold out every Bronco they get within a week, and have to keep re-ordering more. So, next time I see one, I'll snag it. Same with the Suburban when I see it.
  23. Que the Screeching! According to the Revell listing for the Eldorod, it will have the "Dreaded" Solid Wire axles. Let the shrieking and pearl clutching begin. I'm ready to buy two of these now. I want one that bad.
