  1. Great Work. Always nice to see work this sharp.
  2. Here are the directions for the Sandman Buggy and trailer. http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/instruction_sheetsh/instruction_sheets/revell-2/revell-mr-sandman-w/?view=roll#7
  3. Lookin' good so far! Keep at it.
  4. The Decals should be pretty nice too, based on Round2's track record with these older kits. I'll be getting one of these kits.
  5. Mine is in the garage, next to the '29 roadster kit.
  6. I remember buying the Grant King kit. I still have the '53 Ford although the trailer and sprint car are long gone. I have two of the Revell Sandman boxed sets tucked away in my stash. Add me to the list of those wishing Revell would bring back the dune buggy. It is a highly simplified kit. It could be a snaptite kit. the tires are one piece castings, the car is about 5 parts, and motor is another 5. But would be great to have back. The quality of the engraving is very high. Issue the trailer and the buggy in one box and you have a great kit.
  7. Thanks. I need to get one of those.
  8. Wow, the story is even better than the restored kits. Great Work.
  9. Neat Build. Has a "Hawk, 'Weirdo's'." vibe to it.
  10. After seeing this, I need to dig out my Testors kit and compare for my self. Thanks for the pics.
  11. A great Build. TROG seems to generate a lot of enthusiasm.

I'll echo what others have said. Great Work. An inspired and inspiring build.
  13. Thanks, Mr. Moto.
  14. Kool! Bangers Rule!
  15. Now THIS is a Race Car. Superlative build of a seldom seen kit. I'd have never thought of this. Which Jimmy Flintstone body did you start with? It looks Model T ford to my eye.
  16. Ummmmm, Sure different!
  17. These are great builds. And even better are the stories that go with each build. Outstanding Work!
  18. Wow! A stunning Rod. What did you use for the Velocity Horns on the Carbs? They Don't look injection molded.
  19. What a thoughtful gift. I'm sure your Dad will like it.
  20. About the Colour. So many of the real trailers I've seen are black. That makes yours look all the more real. A correct choice, IMHO. Great Job.
  21. You know, substitute two regular bucket seats for the Cobra Seats, and it would make a nifty Street Rod! The rest pf it looks great. Now, Where can I find some 1/16 bucket seats.........?
  22. A further check of the Bed Buggy directions does no show any lenses (glass) for the Woodlites in the Kit. So Round2 can sell just the Chrome Tree and you'll have all you need. Neat! It'll never happen but it's a good idea, I think.
  23. Yeah, the Woodlite headlights alone my prompt a buy. Round2 should think about just selling the chrome tree with those lights by itself. I'd be in for a bunch, just for those Woodlites.
  24. Amen, Casey. The Corvair Based Barris T, is a decent but not great Show Rod, and as common as dirt right now. I have two sealed issues that have been to to three swapmeets and not sold. Looking at the instructions for the Bed Buggy explain why Round2 is doing this. The Chassis and powerplant for both kits are the same. Round2 has either found and restored, or retooled the Bed Buggy parts, and the Barris T parts are close at hand. Voila, a New kit. Good For Round2. This will lower the insane eBay prices for another kit.
