  1. The Lincoln would be my choice, under the circumstances. If you lived in an area without snow, I'd reverse it.
  2. Looks Great! Captures the Vibe of the Hurri, very nicely. Good Show.
  3. Man, I'm having Login & Page loading issues galore right now. I've Timeout prompts, just trying to go back a page. The Web-Bots are active right now....
  4. Good Questions, Jurg. I hope somebody here as some answers for you.
  5. Indeeed. Thos wheels are just wrong for that car.
  6. Better for you, maybe, but much of this thread, has revolved around the fact that many other modelers, are not you, and do not have the same skills or experiences you have or have had with Dupli-color, Rust-oleam, Krylon and other paints. I am glad for your advice and glad you get the results you get, but not everybody is you.... Or Donn Yost, or Ace....
  7. The Monogram has a taller opening on the hood scoop. To my eye, the Monogram kits looks better, and the headlight issue is non-existant, as I can't see it. But, I'd buy and build either kit.
  8. What kit should I be checking to find some of the Hub Caps that you want?
  9. I remember reading a contemporary account in an old Magazine of a 25 mile trip in 1912, that had 9 blowouts, and took 8 hours. So tires were very fragile in the 'Teens. One of the reasons many Brass Era cars carried two spares.
  10. Could it be Replica's and Miniatures of Maryland, by any chance?
  11. Lindberg has a 1/16 Scale Fenderless Stutz Racer. NIce Kit, but Very, Very Simple. Here is a built one.
  12. You could remove the fenders from the MPC Stutz Bearcat, and come close to this. Look at that Patina.
  13. That looks like some of the cars I used to see on the roads in Bakersfield back in the 1990's. Very Good Job.
  14. Really, 20 bucks sounds cheap to me.
  15. This is Looking Fine. A great job of setting the proper ride height.
  16. Wow, Great Work. Very Clean!
  17. Never Heard of them Never will eat their product.
  18. A Class Act! He even apologized to his fans for leaving them so soon, because he counted on having more time to share his thought with them. What a guy.
  19. See the Dajiban comments on page three of this thread.
  20. You want lead shot, not Tire weights. Easier to cram in small spaces. Get 'em in, flood with super glu. I think there is a 55 Gallon Drum in the kit that can be used as a Prop. As big as they were, even in IRL, they were easy to over balance. The rear crew never went in first. Needed the pilots weight to keep the nose down.
  21. That is not a Ford. Dodge or Buick. Look at the Rad Shell and the Drum Headlights. Wish I could see more of it, but truthfully many 1920's car looked very similar so it is hard now 100 years later to make exact I'D.s with just the parts shown here.
