Excellent Colour Choice, and clean build style. Good Show, Johnny!

I hear you, Ron. It is no fun, and can be truly horrific to live with. I hope it gets better. Mine has dialed itself back to just the odd twinge, to be replaced by screaming pains in my left shoulder from the torn rotator cuff. Wakes me up at 3am a couple night a week, now.

Finally got the correct prescription for my glasses, after having had cataract surgery. I can see to drive again!! Also, my mother gave me my Grandmothers car to drive. My mom has been driving the car, for the last few years since Grandma passed, but I needed wheels, and it runs and drives very well. It is a 1987 Toyota Camry, with 108 thousand miles on it. For 37 year old car, it is in great shape. It is literally the "Little Old Lady from West Covina" Car. It is the same car pictured in both the Pic and the article. All I need to find now are a set of factory LE Wiremesh cast aluminum wheels for it. Mine has the wheel covers as shown, and I want to upgrade the rims. I'm very happy to be driving again after 3 years of Eye Problems and Surgeries. The Freedom to drive again, has cured much of my depression. I'm feeling much better emotionally, and while still searching for a job,, at least I can get to interviews on time without begging rides or using Bus Routes. I turned down job interviews, because it was just too difficult to go to the interview or plan on how to get to work, if I got the job. P.S. if anybody has a line on some Camry Rims, I'll be happy to follow leads on getting a set of them. So, things are looking up. Lastly, my 15 year-old grandson, was in his first (but not his last) High School Play. Kid went out on stage, and killed it! I am so proud of him! He did not talk about doing something, he did it! Way to go! https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a15142192/1987-toyota-camry-archived-instrumented-tes

The Future of Revell...for 2024 at least.
stavanzer replied to niteowl7710's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Yeah, I know about the Chassis Issues. I still want all three kits. The Spyder is my favorite, with the Pontiac #2, and the Mustang last. I hope Revell or Atlantis still has the tooling for these. They were simple, fun kits to build. -
Looking at the newest version of the Bronco, what are the differences between the new Outer Bank kit, and the older one? And, how easy are these kits to assemble? I was looking at one as a Slump Buster, since they are curbside, but it seem to have a lot of parts. Thanks for any help. Alan

Of 1957 Chevy Bel Air's - 2024, which to buy?
stavanzer replied to Jonathan's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
No, not the kit to buy. It is the old AMT 3'n'1 Kit, with all the custom parts removed. You can only build it stock, and some versions in that boxing are molded in blue. -

What a travesty! Some people would ruin perfection by trying to improve it...... I do like the Grey Colour, however. -
AMT ‘51 Chevy 6 question?
stavanzer replied to NOBLNG's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Wayne 12 Port Head. Some early versions of the instruction sheet labeled it as such, IIRC. Part of the story. https://www.inliners.org/12_Port_Story/pt_three.html https://www.audrainautomuseum.org/new-england-hot-rods/wayne-manufacturing-12-port-engine -

Where can I find 1:25 scale shop tools
stavanzer replied to PHPaul's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Oh, Some of the Monogram NASCAR Kits had a few tools, and a Nifty Rollaway Toolbox in them along with a Very Nice Jack, and Gas Can. I can't find a Photo of the parts right now. -

Some Stuff is out there. Fujimi Makes several Tool & Garage sets, that while expensive are very well molded. I have a couple. https://www.modelroundup.com/category-s/187.htm?searching=Y&sort=7&cat=187&show=28&page=1 Just keep scrolling down the page. MPC & AMT include small numbers of tools in at several kits that are still readily available. 1972 Chevy Ramp Truck. https://www.modelroundup.com/1972-Chevrolet-Racer-s-Wedge-Pickup-Truck-p/mpc-r2-885.htm Boss Nova Funny Car. https://www.modelroundup.com/Boss-Nova-Funny-Car-p/amt-r2-1441.htm Any of the AMT/Round2/Lindberg 1934 Pickups. https://www.modelroundup.com/1934-Ford-Sunoco-Pickup-p/amt-r2-1289.htm 1978 Dodge Longbed Pickup. https://www.modelroundup.com/1978-Dodge-D100-Custom-Pickup-Truck-p/mpc-r2-901.htm 1960 Ranchero. https://www.modelroundup.com/product-p/amt-r2-822.htm 1968 Dodge Coronet. I had a Job Interview at 3pm this afternoon. They called me at 12:30 to tell me that they had already filled the job. 2.5 hrs before the interview they called? Is this a 'thing' now? Who does this? I had a ride set up, suit pressed, everything... I'm not happy!

What did you see on the road today?
stavanzer replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Dang. That thing looks like a 4x4! He needs to seriously lower the suspension. These extreme Lifted Trucks look so silly!! (sarc) -
Glad to have you here, German. This is a Great Place to learn, share, and build models.

I'll be watching this build. It looks good so far.
