  1. I'll ask. Is the A990 kit, the Legendary Car from the "Little Ole Lady from Pasadena" song? I've always meant to build one. If this kit is the car, I'm set.
  2. According to an article written by Tim Boyd, on scale Bangers, the Revell Model A's and the AMT 29 Model A Roadster are the only kit based Banger Engines in Plastic. The OHC Head in the AMT kit is a Vintage Pre WWII Hop Up piece, and the Parts from the Two Revell Kits are more Post WWII, (1950's) THe AMT parts are simple, and there are only 3 of them, Head, Twin Carbs, and a Racing Style exhaust pipe. The Revell parts are better detailed and there are a few more of them. I hope these images help.
  3. Great! I need a couple of these kits.
  4. Great review, Adam! What an odd little car. So Veddy, Veddy English.
  5. Carl, I will be praying for you. Take it easy, and see the Dr.
  6. HPI Guy on one of his Mod Stocker builds mentions that he has photos of the real thing running those large tires, posted to his Facebook Page. It might be worth checking out. Even, better, maybe someone could post a couple pics here of those tires on the Real Thing.
  7. Thanks, Chuck. I was thinking they had announced a 1926 Model T while I wasn't looking.
  8. Outstanding Replica! There are never enough Civil Aircraft Builds, and this one us Top Notch. Good Show.
  9. Beautiful Build! I like all the work you put into the engine and drivetrain. Good Show.
  10. That did indeed, turn out nicely. Good Show.
  11. I really Like the TA-152. I like where you are going with this. I am not surprised that the Z-M engine is the best. They do some really fine work on their kits. Keep up the good work.
  12. Great Build of the Monogram Kit. It does have it's drawbacks, but you have done an outstanding job on the kit. Tim Boyd did an article on building this kit in Scale Auto. It has some tips for getting a smooth build. I think he has posted that article here on the Forum somewhere. It might be worth looking up if you decide to build the kit again. Good Show.
  13. Outstanding Build! The Colours look Great, and it has the looks of a wrecker from the era. Good Show.
  14. Ah, thanks for the explanation. Enjoy the Maverick. A friend of mine has one, and is very happy with it.
  15. Dang! I'm gonna miss him. I had PM'd him a couple of times and he was always great to talk to. I'll miss his "Snake-Fu" builds and commentary too. R.I.P. Richard.
  16. I hope the truck fits Kyle, but I want to know who has a 75" inch tall Garage Door? That's Tiny. Mine is 96" tall.
  17. Oddly, I really like the Monogram Kit. It builds fairly easily, and looks enough like a Nomad to get the attention of most casual model builders. I've built a couple, and I like them.
  18. Mark, I'm curious to see what optional parts will be in the Chevelle. I don't think I've ever seen the Red Boxing you mention. Either way it is a Fun kit, like a lot of the MPC kits were. I hope it gets a second set of Wheels. I always like a choice of rims. Thanks for sharing what you know about it.
  19. Wow! It looks great, Chuck. Your weathering is Top Notch! Good Show.
  20. Really? I had not known that. I learned something new. Thanks!
  21. That's the same version I had, back in the 80's. I'll be wanting another one, just to see if I can do a better job building it, than I did the first time. James, Thank you for the clear answer to my question. I'll wait for another year or so to worry about the '32's.
  22. Man, those sure look like short beds.... Maybe the roll bar from the Flareside will make it into the kit. That bed looks like it could be made into a longbed, but the surgery would be tricky.
