  1. That's how I do it too. Prime body, inside and out, spray the headliner and when dry, wet sand body, mask off headliner, and paint the body.
  2. I was wondering that too, looks like a little gas BBQ grill.
  3. Just got a poorly packed kit 2 days ago from a retailer that I've bought from many times before. Never had a problem before, but this time the kit was stuck in a box that was too big, with a crumpled wad of paper shoved in one end for padding(no padding). The box was crushed, and so was the body in the kit.
  4. Also interesting is that there are no ramps on that trailer. Wonder how they got that Willys in that position?
  5. I got my 65 Fairlane Modified stocker from Megahobby today, and the box was crushed, and so was the body of the car. The roof is laid over to the side nearly flat. The kit was poorly packed, in a box that was way too big with hardly any padding, to keep it from flopping around. I hope they can make this right(quickly), I buy a lot of stuff from them.
  6. If the post in the kit review section is correct, it looks like it's going to be the 63 Chevy II Wagon, and that will be fine with me!
  7. Same here, these guys are both great traders. Don't hesitate to do a deal with them!
  8. Megahobby has them listed in stock, also 63 Galaxie, and 65 Fairlane Modified stocker.
  9. Hey, it only took six tubes of Krazy Glue to get that sucker to stick!
  10. Where is this review? I can't find it anywhere on SA site.
  11. Love the day 2 look! That's what we did to them back in the 70s(boy, I miss those days).
  12. Thanks guys, I've got one coming, looks like it might be interesting. Not many 1/25 VW vans to choose from.
  13. I'm doing a trade for a California Roller VW van(Revell). Does anyone have any info or pictures of this kit?
  14. So Lee, are you going to hook the rest of us up with that source?
  15. Never seen a Mobius kit in HL.
  16. Stopped in mine today, nothing on clearance, and the shelves were full, except the spot where the 4 dr Impala was
  17. That might make a cool rotisserie for a restoration shop diorama.
  18. I remember your great models from years ago. Doesn't look like you've lost a step. Can't wait to see more!
  19. The top of the roof on the Monogram kit looks awful to me. It is way too flat and shallow. If you look at the real car in the first post, and the kit above, it is very obvious.
  20. The rear tires are a little bigger than the front.
