Getting a lot of little black Xs. No pics.

I took a "pit-stop" at a truck stop today that had a shelf of die cast cars. Most of them were 1/24 scale, but there was a Welly 68 Olds 442 that looked really nice, but it also looked kind of small. I'm not sure if it looks small because the others are 1/24, or if it's undersize. Just wondering what scale Welly normally does?

What paint did you use on this? I have a kit that I want to do in that color.

Your injector stacks look like aluminum. Do you make them, or are they aftermarket? Your gassers are great!

With all the insurance companies that will save me 3 to 4 hundred dollars a year, I've figured out that if I switch every year, within 3 years, they will be paying me to use their insurance.

Looks great, I did the same thing with a 60 Chevy pickup, and it turned out pretty good too!

I think that a nice set of chrome steel wheels would look great on it! That's what a lot of guys would put on their tri five Chevys back in the 60s and 70s.

Mine is untouched. I guess $200 buy it now would be about right!

I got a Revell/Monogram Jaguar XKE coupe #0556, and Aston Martin DB4 #562 1/25 kits from the late 90s for $35 for both. Did I get a good deal?

I've got that kit too, maybe I should put it on Ebay. I like how they say it's unopened, and then show a picture of the open box.

The kits I'm looking at are the bottom pictures in both of your posts(red Revell Aston Martin and red Jag coupe). I might get to see them in person, in the next few days, and I think I'll grab them since I can get them for a lot less than they're going for on Ebay.

I found a Revell/Monogram 1/25 Jaguar XKE and Aston Martin DB 4. Does anybody know what these are like, and what they might be worth? They are in new, unbuilt condition. Thanks

I think that the new wagon kit will be a "Radio Flyer"!

I think I'll wait for the Hobby Lobby reset, that should happen within the next couple months, to see if any of the new stuff shows up, that I can use the coupon on.

I don't remember, I've had it for a long time. I think I've seen it at HL, and other places. Walmart might have it, but the last time I was at Walmart, they had all of the Krylon paints marked down to $2.00 for the XL size cans. I think they might be clearing them out to discontinue them.

The 65 Chevelle "Surf Wagon" was just released. It will be sitting on the shelves at Hobby Lobby for the next 3or4 years. Would they really reissue that one again that soon?

Krylon has a color called Bahama Sea that is very close, and you can use it on bare plastic, if you want to. Primer is not needed. I've done it over gray primer, white primer, and bare white plastic, and the color comes out the same every time. It might not be an exact match, but it is really close, and for about 4 or 5 bucks for a can that will do a lot of engines, it's close enough for me.

Has happened a few times, but works on 2nd or 3rd try.

I wonder if they might add a roof to the jeep kit?
