Cool stuff, I love that blue Chevy pickup.

I save the instructions, box tops(folded flat)and the little mini boxes from a lot of the AMT kits(unfolded).

The wheels/tires are very cool! Where did they come from?

Has anyone tried to transplant the(awful)Amt 67 GTO onto the AMT 67 Chevelle Pro Street chassis? I have an extra Chevelle kit that I'd like to put a different body on, without a lot of work, and was wondering if this might work.

I could look at this all day. It's funny how your tastes change(and stay the same)after 50 years.

It seems to me that it would be easier(and safer)to just look at the actual gauges, and not lose the use of your mirror.

Now, those are some beautiful models, great subjects, great builds. I love every one!

I agree, a complete waste of plastic! I can't believe that AMT can't find anything better to reissue than this goofy thing, and with a $36 price tag!

I asked the girl in the model dept. today, and she said nothing new until after the first of the year. Another genius piece of marketing. Let's not get anything new in before Christmas, we might sell some.

I stopped by HL yesterday, and in the model aisle there were 3 boxes of stuff to restock shelves with. I poked around in them, and other than the 60 Chevy pickup that they've been out of for a while and some tractors(not interested), there was just a bunch of the same old stuff that's been sitting on the shelves for the last 2 or 3 years.

I noticed that too! Sure glad they had it on sale.

I just thought this might be the case, since there is nothing wrong with the Revell 63 Impala chassis. Why would anyone go through the trouble of swapping a chassis when it's not needed? However, the AMT 63 Impala Chassis isn't that good, and the 62 convertible chassis is much better, I thought that would make more sense. I apologize for trying to make sense. Oh yeah, I know what the title states, and I know Revell has a 62 Impala.

I wonder if maybe he's thinking AMT 62 Impala convertible chassis under the Amt 63 Impala?
