  1. GREAT BUILD!!….awesome little car!!
  2. First off, that is looking BEAUTIFUL, bud!!!!, secondly, I just drilled it out before I even sanded the part......sorry. Are you going to SB brake caliper faces?....I cant believe they don't have any at this scale!!!!
  3. Cant wait to see this one built up!, I just got this kit myself when I discovered I didn't have any BMW's in my collection.
  4. I've never even heard of this kit.....it looks cool though!!…..look forward to following it!!
  5. Brilliant, bud!!, I've done that a time or two myself
  6. Thanks, Pat!......is that your Lotus??!!!!……..love it!!!!
  7. You bet, Dan!!, I use a booth, respirator, and extra exhaust fans!!
  8. Thanks, Ken!, I do use a booth, a respirator, and exhaust fans in a window...….NO nasty boogers...lol!!
  9. Thanks, Lloyd!
  10. Ya, Tommy....that's 5 hours of priming 8 kits parts!!...normally its not that bad, but primer days are worse than kolor days...lol this is how I handle my cans; I pick them up...shake them for a minute...spray...put the cap back on, and move to the next kolor...LOL -I NEVER have to klean the nozzles, and the second a can starts "acting-up", I toss it.
  11. Hey, everyone!, just a small update on this one; I shot-up the wheels with Spaz Stix ultimate mirror chrome, but backed it with a semi-gloss black, so that I would have a nice aluminum look, instead of chrome. Soon I will paint the centers with a flat to dull it down even more.
  12. Most definitely looking good!!!
  13. In the immortal words of Del Boy Trotter; "Lovely jubbly….isn't it!!"
  14. Another BRILLIANT personal touch, that actually makes the original design flow better!!
  15. that's too funny!!….I JUST got that one in to try it out!!!
  16. Those Porsche kits are the best!!….I have the original issue of that one.
  17. Absolutely stunning!!….well done!!
  18. I think it still looks FANTASTIC!!! I think we all know what its like to have a nice kit still fight us the whole time...the "Slinky effect". About the windows not fitting; I find that leaving, or cutting-out the door windows almost always helps fix fitment issues, plus you don't have to strain your eyes looking through the thick....sometimes distorted window, trying to see all that awesome interior detail work that you put in! I don't know about others, but I would feel pretty confident in saying that I feel most of us end up doing a lazy thing or two here, and there...…..I certainly do. For me, I think its my brain, atmosphere....whatever, telling me that I need a break from doing a detailed build. Keep up the great work, and remember that "beating" ourselves up is what also keeps us improving, and building beautiful works of art! The higher your standards, the less "slack" you give yourself, which shows the pride you take at whatever you do!!
  19. Thanks, Lloyd!!
  20. This is moving along beautifully!!, and that's a BRILLIANT idea about affixing the template with the adhesive!!
  21. Heres an update on my Miura; got the interior kolor on, next step will be masking things off, and shooting the semi-gloss black accents.
  22. Hey, everyone!, its hard to believe that the next step is the actual kolor coat!!…….ALOT of you have been patiently waiting for this part, so have I! I just got done spraying my metallic paint that I use to replicate CF, and after it gasses-out, I will mask it off, and shoot the Metallic Pewter!!….should be Sunday
