  1. Nice detail work on that Ranchero, Tim. It really does make it look alot better! As far as making a mess in your hotel room, I wonder if, technically speaking of course, driving a Lincoln into the swimming pool would be considered making a mess in the room?!
  2. You could use some Alclad or SpazStix on some plain steel wheels for the Cyclone cap look.
  3. Ron, those pics were shot at a storage garage, it was very dark, so the colors didn't show up properly. The actual color is the same yellow as your pics, it has the black interior. All the chrome, and the woodgrained dash, really pop with the black!
  4. Mostly kits that I missed from when I was "between" model building periods, or salvageable re-builders if an unbuilt kit is too expensive.
  5. Cool "beater", Al!
  6. Very well done, Bill! That color looks much more "purpley" than it did in your WIP thread.
  7. Thanks for chiming in Snake! A compliment from you really means alot! You wouldn't believe how many people have seen that crease and asked "what happened?" because they are far more used to seeing the slab-sided Fairlane, and assume that the far less-often seen Comet would be "the same thing"!
  8. Very sharp car, Paul!

I was also hesitant to open this thread because Donks and Gassers are just not my thing, but I am really glad I did! That is beautiful, Peter, very well done!!
  10. Nice save of a rare kit.
  11. Well done Jon!
  12. Very nice, don't see too many '65s, let alone the convertible!
  13. Looking forward to seeing this one. With Eastwood directing and Hanks starring I figured it would be pretty good.
  14. Cool! Haven't seen too many of those built, especially with the box art! My grandparents had a '71 Galaxie that they had similar windows cut into those enormous C-pillars, they were called "opera" windows then.
  15. Another great tank Thomas! Love the gold trim!
  16. Another nice one, Thomas! Would love to see them reissue this one!
  17. Great job on a rare subject!
  18. Very nice, Thomas! Great color, haven't seen one of those in along time.
  19. Nice work! Your mods really stand out, the colors do also.
  20. I read "Descent Into Darkness" by Commander Edward Raymer, who was one of the lead Navy salvage divers sent into Pearl Harbor to clean up after the attack. Very interesting book!
  21. I wish Moebius, as well as everyone else in that area well!
  22. Very cool idea! Like everyone else has said, this won't be easy, cheap, or fast!
  23. With a little patience that kit can be made into a very nice model, definitely a welcome change of pace from the usual subjects!
  24. Very nice, that is a really cool kit.
