    I've spent a lot of time in Canada (including the French part of Quebec), I have been told many times that American broadcasting companies like to hire Canadians as their national news anchors because they don't have an accent.

    I can't confirm whether it's a hoax or not. But his acting career has been dead for quite a while!

    It's easy enough to find pictures of pretty much any license plate ever issued through the ALPCA that you can save in a file, then print them onto decal paper with a decal making program (that are pretty cheap). These are just a really cool collectible/conversation piece.

    Picked this up today. 1/350 USS Enterprise as she was outfitted in late 1942. Also ordered a PE detail set, and a wooded flight deck.

    Those are really cool! I also didn't know that any sort of detailing pieces were offered back then other than the custom parts in kits.

    '63 Mercury you say? Other than the hash marks on the rear quarter (that are nearly covered by the '58-'59 era "candlesticks"), I'd just have to take his word for it!

    Gabriel, you could try the suspension from the AMT '51 Chevy. They are very similar cars, that kit is readily available.

    Good color choice, it seemed that about 1/2 of the cars on the road from that era were some shade of it. Nice save of a rare subject!

    Yes, that is an AMT kit. I've never tried, but I see no reason why the parts from any '59 Impala that aren't El Camino specific wouldn';t work on it.

    The most mentioned city for possible relocation of teams in all sports is Las Vegas, especially now that they have an NHL expansion team starting next season.
