You're right. It's a bit of work, but the results speak for themselves. ? -

This is the only acceptable time for people to comment on how crappy a build is! I like it! -
One of my Holy Grail kits! Great job with the weathering. Looks awesome!

He was one of my favourites. I'd post his Little Johnny joke, but then I'd have to give myself a 30-day time out!

Not a meme, but this always makes me laugh. “A moth goes into a podiatrist’s office, and the podiatrist’s office says, “What seems to be the problem, moth?” The moth says “What’s the problem? Where do I begin, man? I go to work for Gregory Illinivich, and all day long I work. Honestly doc, I don’t even know what I’m doing anymore. I don’t even know if Gregory Illinivich knows. He only knows that he has power over me, and that seems to bring him happiness. But I don’t know, I wake up in a malaise, and I walk here and there… at night I…I sometimes wake up and I turn to some old lady in my bed that’s on my arm. A lady that I once loved, doc. I don’t know where to turn to. My youngest, Alexendria, she fell in the…in the cold of last year. The cold took her down, as it did many of us. And my other boy, and this is the hardest pill to swallow, doc. My other boy, Gregarro Ivinalititavitch… I no longer love him. As much as it pains me to say, when I look in his eyes, all I see is the same cowardice that I… that I catch when I take a glimpse of my own face in the mirror. If only I wasn’t such a coward, then perhaps…perhaps I could bring myself to reach over to that cocked and loaded gun that lays on the bedside behind me and end this hellish facade once and for all…Doc, sometimes I feel like a spider, even though I’m a moth, just barely hanging on to my web with an everlasting fire underneath me. I’m not feeling good. And so the doctor says, “Moth, man, you’re troubled. But you should be seeing a psychiatrist. Why on earth did you come here?” And the moth says, “‘Cause the light was on.”

That new Scania is definitely making its way into my stash.

I've always wondered about the finished product. What Arii's take on an American looks like when built. Looks pretty good. Nice job!

Here's am esoteric subject - anyone else into fountain pens?
iamsuperdan replied to Monty's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
I am a fan/pseudo-collector of nice pens, but have never made the leap to fountain pens. -

I could be convinced to print up sets for those who want them. PM me. -
Speak for yourself. ? I see at least three kits I'll add to the stash.

I'm going to try and find his first movie...Roadie. It looks ridiculous and awesome.

Looks like a lot of work to get that body right, but the end result was totally worth it! Looks excellent!

What did you see on the road today?

Dang. Even has the 911R tail lights. That's awesome. -

The only vehicle we have any "mandatory" adds on is the Super Duty truck. They are in such short supply, and allocation is so weak for these in Canada, that we will not retail sell one of these trucks unless the customer is somewhat local (meaning we'll get future service business) and they do something in the business office; finance/lease, or extended warranty, or maintenance package, etc. Luckily, I run the fleet department so we don't have to worry about that stuff. Other than that, no mandatory extras. Bronco is sold out for at least the next year. We're getting a lot of them, but everything is pre-sold. Maverick's are arriving on a regular basis. Most are pre-sold, but we are getting stock units for sure. -

At my dealership, we sell at MSRP. No markup or price-gouging here. Even on Bronco and Lightning. -

The base Maverick is the cheapest vehicle in Ford's entire North American lineup right now. And it's the perfect truck for people who don't need a truck. Picture it as a Ford Escape that you can take to a garden center and throw a pile of topsoil or wood chips or trees in. Around here, they're selling like crazy. -

I haven't decided on a colour yet, but I'll most likely go with the bright red. ?
