  1. Wow. Those are pretty fantastic. Nice work!
  2. Like this? Replica of the truck my wife had when we first started dating.
  3. There is some sort of issue between USPS and Canada Post, and the printing company / distributor used. I'm staff, and my issues only arrived this week. Would be nice to see it resolved.
  4. Yes. I have an all white reg cab shortbox, non 454SS promo, as well as an all black reg cab longbox. Plus an all red reg cab longbox, and an all white reg cab stepside. And that painted Brickyard 400 shortbox as well. There may very well be more colours, but they made the reg cab 1500s in all of the available configurations. I think extended cabs were only ever made in longbox, both single and dual rear wheel. Unfortuantely, no crewcabs. A few years ago, there was a site called motorbids.com It was basically ebay but only for automotive parts and merch. I bought a ridiculous amount of promo kits and other kits on there for cheap. A lot of the promos were under $10 each. Picked up a lot of normal kits for under $10 as well. Went a long way to expanding my CHev/GMC OBS collection! Wish it was still around.
  5. I need to track one of those kits down. I have a few promos in that config, but none with the canopy.
  6. I have a bunch of these old duallies in the stash and can't wait to grab a couple of the new ones. I have two of the metallic green promo duallies. Plus a few of the metallic red snap kits. And a few of the custom GMC duallie in white. Would love to find one of the original canopies/toppers that came with the kits.
  7. Jonathan was great to deal with. Fast shipping. Kit arrived safe and secure, mirrors and rear spoiler still attached. No complaints at all.
  8. The decal sheet includes logos from Zender, ABT, Oettinger, and BBS. It was also reissued as a "Golf BBS Oettinger" with a blue car on the box. From what I've found, in reality, this is indeed based on a Mk1 Golf with Zender bodykit. Very basic kit. Was originally designed to take a motor and battery. But should look cool when done. I'll be starting a WIP on it soon.
  9. Nope! It's this one. VW Golf BBS from Nitto.
  10. I'll be adding a few of the C3500 to the stash. I have a thing for those trucks, so have been snapping them up every time I find them. New tool though. I'm intrigued.
  11. So many excellent details on there, but it's the headlights that make the biggest difference. Those have always been a let down on these kits. Awesome work!
  12. Got to work this morning, put my tea pod in the Keurig, put my milk and sugar in my mug (yeah, that's right, I said it...milk and sugar) and then promptly forgot to put the mug in the Keurig. Tea...everywhere... Good start to the day. ?
  13. A little something I'm working on. Kit parts on the right (obviously) and 3D printed on the left. And here are my experiments for this kit.
  14. Nope, you are correct. She was in Star Trek II - Wrath of Khan back in 1982. Then Cheers in (I think) 1987.
  15. And don't you dare get the size wrong! If you pick something and it's too small, she's going to think she's fat and will get all moody and weird. And if you pick somethingthat's too big? "How big do you think I am? You think I'm fat?!" And then no one has a good time. Luckily, my wife has given me strict instructions to never buy clothes for her, so I've never had to experience this first hand.
  16. Has happened in both. ?
  17. Man babies. When an issue is brought up, instead of responding and discussing like a grown up, and coming up with a solution, they ignore the messages/emails/whatever and then go and do their whining/complaining about the situation in other places, where people will just agree with them. It's like the old adage: Do you want comfort or a solution? Oh, and it's cold again. With windchill, we're at about -40 Celcius this morning.
  18. I loved her sense of humour. She was so much funnier than her roles allowed her to be.
  19. I wish Canada Post and USPS would play nicer together. My issues finally arrived yesterday here in western Canada.
  20. There are a few good ones based on that sequence!
  21. Upside down. But really, it doesn't matter. Sometimes the kids put the dishes away and the cups go back right side up. Whatever. I know people who get generally upset at this kind of thing. That and the toilet paper debate.
  22. This old beast rolled into the shop today. F600. I'm guessing early 70s? In decent shape, all things considered. I like these old trucks. ]
