That looks great so far Marcos. I bought a new one back in '76 and it was a pocket rocket! It had a 1.1 liter rotary with a four barrel carb and would get rubber in all four gears. It was so much fun I ended up owning four RX-7s over the years.
I have this Fujimi kit to build a replica of mine so I'll be watching with interest. Your clean builds are always a pleasure to see.
That’s great! I agree the scale of the metallic particles is much better in some Testors paints. This maroon and Nassau Blue are two examples, while Citrus Yellow comes to mind as one with large flakes that only looks right on a custom.
Use an index card to clean out those panel lines. I learned that on this board and it works well. Just use a corner and run it down the door crack - switch to a new corner when it gets gunked up.
That is strange. I looked at my old emails and I definitely got it from Time Machine Resin. I guess TM Resins is not the same although I always thought they were.
Time Machine Resins used to make one for the Revell kit. I got this one from Jeff in 2013. I wonder if he still has the master and would consider making more?
Keith, that turned out beautifully. I had much the same idea a few years back and built a replica of a neighbor's Cougar from back in the day. This was also my first vinyl top attempt so your build brought back memories.
