  1. Awesome track, Doug! I’m enjoying just going through all the pictures to take in the details. Nice work.
  2. Mark, that is worth being late; beautiful model.
  3. Superb modeling, Mark. It is fun to do a model of a favorite 1:1, but rarely do we see one so faithful to the real thing. Wow!
  4. Or they set it for 8:00 EST which is 9:00 EDT.
  5. I hope you can produce one, Rico. I’d love to do a couple Camaro pace cars with uptops.
  6. Awesome model! This reminds me of a Ken Hamilton model, which is a sincere compliment. Nice work.
  7. Excellent work, Tommy.

    Fujimi Mazda RX3

Love it, Marcos! Looks like it was a fun build...
  9. Curt, you really nailed it. Outstanding work!
  10. That looks great so far Marcos. I bought a new one back in '76 and it was a pocket rocket! It had a 1.1 liter rotary with a four barrel carb and would get rubber in all four gears. It was so much fun I ended up owning four RX-7s over the years. I have this Fujimi kit to build a replica of mine so I'll be watching with interest. Your clean builds are always a pleasure to see.
  11. Very nice, Howard. Will we see this at Toledo?
  12. That’s great! I agree the scale of the metallic particles is much better in some Testors paints. This maroon and Nassau Blue are two examples, while Citrus Yellow comes to mind as one with large flakes that only looks right on a custom.
  13. Steve, although the label does not indicate it the Testors Honduras Maroon is metallic (and reddish orange in direct sun).
  14. Beautiful job, Johnny. I like that you kept it stock.
  15. Steve, the Honduras Maroon is a metallic paint. PPG lists it as “Honduras Maroon Poly”. It’s actually a very attractive paint.
  16. Joe, I looked up Jeff Scruggs on LinkedIn and if I got the right guy he is an Operations Engineer at Sun Pattern Plastics in Wheaton Illinois.
  17. Everything about this model says to me that you are an expert. Beautiful work!
  18. Wow, that’s a nice looking Chevelle! I’d say the skills are back...
  19. Nicely done, Marcos. As others have pointed out, your under hood detailing is very convincing.
  20. Beautiful model, Bruce.
  21. This is really coming together, Joe. Nice work so far!
  22. Use an index card to clean out those panel lines. I learned that on this board and it works well. Just use a corner and run it down the door crack - switch to a new corner when it gets gunked up.
  23. That is strange. I looked at my old emails and I definitely got it from Time Machine Resin. I guess TM Resins is not the same although I always thought they were.
  24. Time Machine Resins used to make one for the Revell kit. I got this one from Jeff in 2013. I wonder if he still has the master and would consider making more?
  25. Keith, that turned out beautifully. I had much the same idea a few years back and built a replica of a neighbor's Cougar from back in the day. This was also my first vinyl top attempt so your build brought back memories.
