  1. Two words - Way Cool.
  2. Very very nice. Great color choice, clean build.
  3. Very nicely detailed, but like the rear axle, seriously under scale. Likewise, the body midsection isnt tall enough and the front bumpers look fat and oversized to me. (Which exacerbates the not deep enough body). Too bad, because it builds nicely. I did a Pro Shop one as a gift to my brother.
  4. I don't know how this one got by me. Well deserving of a bump.
  5. I wonder if that's why the Blue Bandito doesn't have the Cadillac script on the rocker covers. Licensing is a b***h these days apparently!
  6. I'm neither a Boyd nor a Foose fan, but I like the direction you are going. I concur that the original design is better. It usually is. Nice craftsmanship on your part. Can't wait to see it finished.
  7. Super sweet! What's the paint on there? Love the color. The Lancer caps really look good on there too.
  8. Depends on what year you want. I don't Revell ever did any pre 67 Beetles.
  9. Too nice not to give bump to. Great build.
  10. I'm not normally a fan of those big wheels, but they sure look right on this one. You've pulled it together nicely. Great job!
  11. Try the chrome scoop from the 63 Galaxie. Fits that blower like a glove.
  12. If you have Facebook, check out the Box Art Replicas group. There are photos of the actual box art model for the Revell 68 Chevelle posted there.
  13. Sure is. Here's Tim Boyd's photo review of the convertible. https://public.fotki.com/funman1712/first-look-at-all-n/first-lookwhats-new-1/
  14. Here they are with white wall and turned inside, and tried them in the Rat Roaster tires.
  15. Not Mike, but the colors listed on instruction sheets often are arbitrary. Your best bet is to Google the car you are trying to replicate. Ebay auctions are also good sources of reference photos.
  16. He was probably thinking of the Testors kits. I'd love to take a stab at the coupe kit. I've seen a couple here that are pretty nice.
  17. These are too neat not to revisit. I just picked up a semi complete IMC concert yesterday and now I'm getting tempted to do something with it...
  18. I know it's old news but the Revell Big Daddy Roth Outlaw also has one. The same one used on Norm Grabowski's Kookie T. Different than the one in the parts pack.
  19. You're nailing it Ralph! Love the headers.
  20. I started this one at least 25 years ago intending to build a modern style street rod. I Z'ed the frame and added a Halibrand quick change, then painted it Boyd's dusty rose pearl. Then it sat... A little later I decided to retro it up a bit, but could never find a wheel tire combo I liked. Well now I think I'm there... front wheels are AMT 49 Ford with new tool Ala Kart tires flipped inside out and painted white walls (they need one more coat). Engine will be a 6 jug 283 from the Tweedy Pie. (Sorry Tim Boyd!)
  21. They all look great, but I love the barn find looking one. I'm glad Alan is leaving it as is.
  22. Looks great. Round2 ought to tool up a new front bumper/headlight assembly. I think Missing Link does or did make correct original style in resin.
  23. I'm a little shocked I didn't know that, lol.
