  1. I was going to say the same thing as Tulio, Tim. Then again, like the man said. "Modeling..."
  2. Looks bombtastic.
  3. Actually, I believe my guess is correct. The Monogram 37 Ford (bottom) has a two piece axle assembly (separate spring on front of axle). The ZZ Top 33 Ford axle (top) is a spitting image.
  4. I remember that truck. It's way cool.
  5. Cut the outside first. My white walls are hand painted on old AMT Trophy series tires. Stock wheel covers are from an MPC 57-60 Corvette.
  6. Too bad the thread wasn't limited to the 3D printing stuff and not full of a certain someone's meaningless drivel.
  7. That it is, but it's a blast from the past to build, gives you multiple building options, and the oh so cool retro factor.
  8. Looking good! Nice style and detail painting. Simple and catchy.
  9. Ebay and retail outlets are two very different things. Just like cleaning out your stash differs from cutting molds and cranking out mass production.
  10. Now that is awesome.
  11. Good information to know, but shouldn't this be posted in News and Reviews?
  12. None of my Flip nose 57s (or 53 Flip nose pickups - same tool) have that problem.
  13. Who is Tom Cognotti? Don't you mean Don Tognotti? And what 3 window coupe? The little 1/32 one?
  14. I think they threw in the mags that they tooled up for the 66-67 Dodge Charger. Something tells me they are feeling a pinch. Not seeing a lot of tool modding lately.
  15. And they could have included all of it.
  16. Man that's right as rain. I love it.
  17. Ditto for me. It even resembles a period kit build as well. Love it.
  18. Love it! Do you recall what you used for the front axle? I'm a pushover for a dropped early Ford beam axle. Looks like the one from the Monogram ZZ Top 33 Ford kit.
  19. Tim, while you are sharing these cool builds, could share your way cool 27 T pickup?
  20. I know this is after the fact. But when this thread was fresh, I knew there was a turtledeck in a kit that is very close in size and shape, but couldn't recall at the time which one. So for anyone looking to do something similar, look in the Lindberg 34 (really a 32) Ford Roadster pickup kit.
  21. Bucky took the words right out of my mouth. Cool project and I also like that blade tip. Looking forward to seeing it finished!
  22. I think I may actually have a can of that. Anyway, looking forward to seeing it done!
  23. Looking good Bernard! What's the paint on that? Looks great!
  24. I have one of those. It's the 70s era Street Rods issue. They had backdated it from the 67 version, but forgot to get rid of the 1967 backup light. They fixed that in the next reissue.
