    My trip to the Naperville, IL one looked about like that, didn't have the '50 Chevy 3100 p/u, Peppershaker '57 or the Pontiac kits yet. I did pick up a '51 Chevy converible there for $7.50 though!

    Did AMT have steelies with their '58 Impala kit? That's the only kit I've ever seen molded in that shade of blue and honestly can't remember if there were steel wheels in the kit!

    Oh, something I discovered a couple weeks back in relation to these and the Astro Supreme style wheels is that the tires that come on those wheels are taller than the ones on the Astro lookalike, but are also a direct swap and fit perfectly. Just thought that might be appreciated since it would help with a big and little stance and allows for a better appearance when used on different sized cars.

    I picked up the Scenes Unlimited Mopar steelies with the '69-'70 dog dish, I do really like those, same with the Pegasus Chrome Reverse, deep Dish Goon Car wheels and the AMT Chevy Van steelies are nice too, I'm even a fan of the cop steelies and chopped down Truck Rally Wheel centercaps that come on the '05 Impala snapper.

    Not sure to be honest, most of the R/C semi wheels and tires out there are 1/14. RC4wd makes parts, but those are 1/14 like allof Tamiya's are.

    Picked up a MPC 1/16 '79 T/A yesterday, then the 2 pack TV Batmobile set and the AMT G50-15 and L60-15 aet today.

    Oddly, I've seen 2 different Ford Freestyles in the last 2 days. Rarely saw them when new and the Five Hundred sedans that they shared the platform with is already nearing hen's tooth status around here as well.

    Dang, guess it was a good thing I picked up the Turbine Car snap kit and promo Rambler Wagon yesterday. Wanted the '59 Dodge he had, but I just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on the $95 price he was asking for it.

    DMYeah, I spent more there today than I have in years! Picked up a couple Scenes Unlimited Mopar DogDish and Steelie sets, couple Pegasus Sovergns and Chrome Reverse sets, a set of Schueys, oh, and JoHan Rambler Wagon and Turbine Car promos. Can't get the pic of the Rambler Wagon over Chrome Reverse wheels to post though.....

    Nope, thinking about a fictional daily driver for Bruce Wayne, especially since I want to do a "Dark Knight" inspired, Coyote powered, ProTouring TV Batmobile and this would go well with it.

    I'm on my lunch right now, and the car is saying 39°, but it feels like a really chilly 39° right now.

    Well, checked my bank account this morning to find that my tax refund was deposited this morning so when I got home, I logged into my Ally car payment account and paid off the car since I only had 2 payments left. So once the payment comes off the pending status and that title shows up in the mail, that 200 is all mine!
