  1. Sorry to drag an old post back, but has anybody had any luck finding underhood decals yet, hose markings, plates, air cleaner decals etc . I would still like to find a supplier if anyone could help.
  2. Jim Id love to see that 1970 Annual you built, I have one unbuilt in my stash an original AMT from 1970, I must agree though the 1970 (and a half) Camaro was a fantastic looking car.
  3. Jam jar is rhyming slang for car Over this end of the pond Noel
  4. Ive yet to build any NASCAR kit, if they do come up over here in the UK they go for $30 + !, Id be happy with a $5 one ....shame the shipping wouldnt be so kind.
  5. Looking great, go steady on those panel lines though..........
  6. Looks superb, but definetly need to see more photos when you get the chance.
  7. Very nice, love those wheels, where are they from ?
  8. Thanks for the photos Luc, lots of nice kits to look forward too !.
  9. Excellent build Steve, I don't think Ive seen one as nice as this before.
  10. Great work Barry, looks just the part
  11. More exciting news thanks for the photos Geoff
  12. Now that peice of news has just made my year !, Finally we get to see a MK1 Escort in 1/24 kit form, and with the quality of these Bel-kits it should be a knockout. Now if they only started doing road going versions as well as rally kits......
  13. Great work is that the recent MPC reissue ?
  14. Brilliant thanks for the reply Oscar
  15. Tom that is a masterclass in detailing!, love it extremely authentic
  16. Ive just sent them an email to remind them Lol !!
  17. Oscar great build and love the colour, one question I have the Fast & Furious version of this kit (basically the same lowrider kit), how easy was it to get a stock looking ride height on the suspension, this kit has like a 1001 different combinations of heights to use, looks quite confusing on the instruction sheet Lol.
  18. I have this same kit in my stash, apart from being moulded in orange which is no big deal really, my kit does seem to suffer with a lot of flash...which again is no issue to me, just surprising on a fairly newish tool.
  19. That actually looks like quite a nice looking model, Ive heard various rumours that it looks like a banana ?, I have the old Monogram 1/24 kit in the stash which is probably still a nicer kit, but I might pick one of these up at somepoint to have a bit of fun with. Oh and I second the vote to re-release the Dodge Coronet snap kit, I missed the boat the 1st time round and Id love a couple of those.
  20. Ive just received mine from the US, its the latest version that Revell have just discontinued, looks to be a great kit, and Im glad I got it when I did as they seem to be dissapearing fast .....not that they ever made it to the UK anyway !
  21. Brilliant tips Snake, I have one of these AMT's in the pile along with the newer revell offering, Ill bookmark this page for future reference....... Now about that Revell grill and rear panel angle................ Lol
  22. Superb job Geoff, nice clean build .
  23. Ok come on !.......... now show us the model ! Seriously good work !
  24. That is fantastic work, I knew this kit would be a good one, I love the added detail with the LP's and JPS cigarette packet. Very impressive!.
  25. Id be interested to know if IPA works on the paint Matt, Its a nightmare finding a decent paint stripper here in the UK, Ive tried Oven Cleaner, Brake Fluid and even my old favourite Fairy power spray doesnt seem to work anymore. I do however have a bottle of IPA, if this works without affecting the plastic ......... Be good to hear the results.
