  1. Who you jivin' with that Cosmik Debri?
  2. I tinted this blue myself. I mixed a little of the Tamiya X23 clear blue with Future and it covered the glass quite well.
  3. Nice, clean build.
  4. Yeah, it's not like a Tamiya kit. Look at the side windows on the doors, they really don't look right when the doors are closed. There would be a lot of wind noise if you could drive around in it.
  5. it's the AMT Dodge Viper. These are new photos. Thanks for looking.
  6. I built this about 10 years ago. One thing I remember is this paint I tried out. I think it was House of Color. When I though the body was dry I touched it and left a very clear, sharp fingerprint on the roof. So I thought I would have to repaint it after it dries. Well this paint dried very slowly and the surface tension totally pulled out the fingerprint so when I looked at it the next day I say the fingerprint was completely gone, not a trace. I was amazed. The color is Hot Magenta. Thanks for looking.
  7. I built this in 20014. It was an OK kit but not as good as the 1/16 Porsche 959 I built in the mid 90's. I just took these new photos of it. Thanks for looking:
  8. You did a really great job. It makes the street rod look real.
  9. I think it will still be on YouTube which is where I watch it weekly.
  10. https://www.ladbible.com/community/driver-crashes-parked-car-blocked-in-space-579328-20230131 I kind of don't blame him for doing it too.
  11. I would have had it completed sooner but last week I was sick with COVID 19 and I'm still a little fatigued from it. I got the COVID 19 at the county court house where I've been called for jury duty. It's just the selection process for a whole gang of criminals with a lot of charges. I do not want to be on this jury. Here's the model, thanks for looking.
  12. That was a great show when I was a kid. I was around 14 when it was on TV. We only had a B/W TV then. The series is on Tubi TV.
  13. Great work. I used to work for Grumman in Bethpage, L.I. back when they built those in the 80's. I was a Jig & Fixture tool designer there. It was my 1st job out of college. I grew up about 5 miles from there.
  14. They make amazing & expensive kits. One of the member of my club has built some of their kits. In fact he showed us the 1/12 Shelby Cobra kit (finished) yesterday. An awesome build.
  15. More detailing done, it looks ridable now. But more detailing to come for the fairings and decal work including some CF decals. Thanks for looking.First here's the painted fairings: Now the bike:
  16. Engine shots: Interior shots (before it was installed in the body):
  17. That's an interesting build. VW never built anything like that, did they? After all they had the VW Bus.
  18. Looks great! How did you do the wood burl of the dashboard? Was it decals?
  19. Now it's staring to look like a bike. Here's a walk around:
  20. I have completed the fork assembly. I used the fork kit accessory that looks better than the fork included in the kit. Frankly, the models that Tamiya makes that have these accessory detail kits should just really make them part of the kit itself instead of charging extra for them. Thanks for looking.
  21. Cool! That will be a fun build and take up some space on the shelf.
