  1. Everything is so well integrated on your Duster. A fine combination of factory and function. Have you settled on an engine for the Duster yet? Big Hemis seem like such a handful on a road course in reality. Hard to top a Hemi for intimidation factor, though.
  2. Very realistic. I'm cold just looking at your display
  3. That's a fine looking Kenworth KJ!
  4. Just browsing the internet and found this dump truck. Thought you guys would get a kick out of it. http://bangshift.com/bangshiftxl/feature-wvideo-the-thump-truck-a-23000lb-kenworth-thats-about-to-run-13s-in-the-quarter/
  5. I like this very much! You did some "imagineering" here, of course but the result is cool. Is this the Time Machine Resin Body BTW? I'm quite the C-Body fan, with the '72 Fury being the resin kit I desire most.
  6. Snake, I had to get Homeshades gray primer online by the ship to store option. You will have to create a walmart account. I paid online and walmart emailed me when I could pick up the primer. Not cash and carry as in the past, but better than not having the primer at all. Homeshades gray primer is out of stock on the Walmart website. This is as of March 18th. Hopefully they will re-stock soon. I bought three cans so I'm good for now. I second your opinions and results on the gray primer as well.
  7. Also the battery terminal corrosion, the cloudy washer fluid tank and the exposed distributor rotor caught my eye. Nice touches.
  8. Check out the Krylon paint website. I see they offer a textured spray paint style in several colors (black is one of them). The paint is in the SuperMaxx paint/primer line. I too thought fabric texture paint was a great thing for modelers. However you and I seem to be in the minority of opinion on that.
  9. Off to a fine start here. Very much agree with the previous commenters.
  10. That Charger is loaded with potential! I really like the color of it. Cleaning, washes, and some touchup will have this looking fine.
  11. The guy thinks he's Jello Biafra?
  12. Great color combo. The wheels have the perfect sheen to them. Better than kit chrome, with more depth and shading built into the finish.
  13. I think your Coronet looks great! The foil application is very well done.
  14. Mike, are these grilles relatively new products? I don't recall them being in my 2011 R&M catalog. I may have to send Norm a catalog request and a check.
  15. Is this the Monogram kit? I always thought that roof was begging for a chop.
  16. More awesome the second time around! Very well done. Thanks for the extra photos.
  17. Well done! I really like how you rigged up the exhaust hood.
  18. The small touch-up jars you linked to interest me. The Preval sprayer is back on my radar, as I'm very airbrush averse myself.
  19. Thanks for the help, gentlemen. The speck is on the lower rear fascia of a T-Bird Turbo Coupe. The speck is below the body side molding typical of those cars. Using the molding as my demarcation line, I shall sand, body color, clear as you recommend, Snake.
  20. It does have a nice grain to it. Elm certainly is a bear to work with. It's almost unsplitable for firewood. Looking forward to seeing your bench finished.
  21. Wow! That elm milled up nicely. Had no idea elm could be used in cabinet making.
  22. Besides color, is there a reason to choose one micro type over the other?
  23. Brushing with Plastruct liquid cement followed by sanding stopped the ghosting for me.
  24. Steve, It was on the body before the first clear coat. The flake is dried paint from the gloves I was wearing while handling the body. I missed it when I tack-clothed the body before clearing.
  25. Your Ferraris are incredibly realistic. I like them all.
