  6. Hey guys- I haven't posted up in a awhile, building has been kinda slow, trying to get my airbrush skills honed, with mixed success...anyway, as you all probably know I love to cut stuff up. This is the 'return' because I built this body many years ago, was never satisfied with the way it was coming together. An on-line friend just had to have it so I sent it to him (here's looking at you, Z-Man), I'm not sure whatever became of it. KK found one of the old Revell '34 three window bodies at the Atlanta NNL last fall and sent it to me. I cut off the greenhouse which is the start of the project. The body is the 'A' from the Ala-Kart with the rear surround from the Revell '32 sedan, for the correct corners...I'm not sure why pix don't load in order... :-( this is the concept, some parts from the Mod Rod kit.... cutting the body apart to narrow and lengthen it a bit to fit the greenhouse... hacking up a perfectly good '32 sedan body... Here's where I am now, plans are for suicide front and rear suspension with a full belly pan. Thinking of a blown flathead sticking through the hood....
  7. This is just too cool. We need to see more work like this going on here... -RRR
  8. Indispensable tool. It'll melt plastic if ya want it to... -RRR
  9. Tom-

I use lots of the chassis and interior tubs with the rounded transmission/driveshaft tunnels (I cut them out for use on my custom floor pans). I would take some of them off of your hands if you still have some. I have lots of stuff to trade, mostly street/hot rod oriented.  What are you looking for? Did you used to attend the Goodguys shows at the Puyallup Fairgrounds with your models back in the '80s and '90s? I used to live in Tacoma and we may have met. Jon

  10. I have two on the way...I might just build a 'box stock' kit for once in my life???? Nah...I'll find something to modify!!!!! -RRR
  11. Now that both Rod & Custom and Street Rodder are gone, The Rodders Journal is about the only magazine left for us hot rod loving types. Published four times a year for about $60.00 but worth it. High quality pictures in a large format, very few ads, too.... -RRR
  12. I got the paint stripped off of the 1932 Ford "Mordor" resin body (master by Dennis Lacy) after dropping it while applying clear coat.... -RRR
  13. Beautiful scratch building work going on here.... -RRR
  14. I have a sinking feeling that Revell salvaged what they could from the two sets of wrecked molds and combined the '30 and '29 parts into one release. I hope I'm wrong.... -RRR
  15. Another reason not to do BMF...LOL...-RRR
  16. Years ago the X-Acto knife rolled off the bench and landed (blade #11) point down in my thigh. I pulled the blade out quickly. I had a small tear in my Levi's for a long time.... -RRR
  17. Who doesn't love Otter Pops???? Very nice work.... -RRR
  18. Awesome combo! Nice kleen work!!! -RRR
  19. Happy Holidays!!!! -RRR
  20. Right click on the form above, save image (suggests .jpg, which is fine), save it and then print it...viola, an order form!
  21. Thanks. I think I originally obtained these in the '49 Mercury kit which was what I was thinking they came from.... -RRR
