Ferrari Outlaws & Hot Rods
89AKurt replied to 89AKurt's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Like I mean in my whole life. My world doesn't revolve around this forum. Yea, I should scroll through my topic first. BTW: You didn't explain who did the car. ? -
? I see no need to add anything. Other than, if it's not a video game, or a plug-in replacement part, forget it. That's why I'm amazed to see show cars quality of work, those craftsmen are about .0000000000001% of the population.

I could have been killed today. This intersection is where I have to do a U-turn to get to my street, I sit there often watching vehicles come at me. But today I was going straight. Light turned red for me, so the left-turn to Robin Dr. could go. The one car went, then I saw a big drywall truck come bombing down that left-turn lane, I was wondering how he was going to turn without tipping over. Instead, he went straight across into the empty left-turn lane that I occupy many times! ? He managed to get stopped, then got turned around, and then turned onto Robin. I told him that I use that left-turn lane all the time, was glad I wasn't there. Huge asbestos smoke was billowing, he said the brakes failed, no kidding. I couldn't really get mad at him, he thought quick and didn't cause a nasty wreck. But like wow, I'm a lucky BLAHstard! Little irk, Google labeling Turquise, not correct name, and misspelled. ?

How do retirees figure in? In Prescott it's the same with all big jacked up trucks, brand don't matter. Add the Left Lane Lemmings.

That top issue, look in the Copperstate contest for my name, think I entered it. I got to know David Cummins too, was an awesome modeler. I keep telling myself, have enough kits. ? Got the Tamiya Gullwing and the wheels for a good price (other kits already had).

Italeri Ferrari 275 gtb
89AKurt replied to TC's topic in Other Racing: Road Racing, Salt Flat Racers
Welcome to the forum! I have to ask, Italeri kit? If so, the wheels Historic Racing Miniatures? Nice job on it. But I'm extremely biased, since I built the 275 NART. -

That is Murphy's Law #89. Never fails, can't happen when it's convenient. Good point. UV rays degrades plastic in AZ like crazy.

Thanks for contributing. You save all those before you shared? Here is one I saw before, but forgot. Mother Authority: GWA Tuning Reinterprets The Ferrari 340 Mexico Berlinetta -
That must redline at 800 RPM! Fun to watch race. Bet the tires are 1000% better, to go with the perfect pavement (sorry, tarmac). Imagine racing on primitive tracks with the original brand new technology tires.

I'm cheating on the first picture, did this 5 days ago. I've been adding shelves in the paint booth. Since Model Master croaked, needed to put them somewhere. Our model club has the display cabinet at the library this month, so I could empty out my display case. Had more glass shelves cut, and edged, this week. Today I made a jig to drill more holes. It was dicy with all the glass and the drill. ?
