  1. (days) of morphine left. ?
  2. 1964 Ford Snow Cat Van - For Sale Having the right vehicle makes all the difference in the world in wintery conditions, and you would be very, very hard-pressed to find a better one than this 1964 Ford Falcon Club Wagon. Actually, to be honest, it’s a mashup between the Ford van and a 1974 Snowcat, hence the tracks, and it’s done just as we like. The van body is in beautiful shape and the 302/C6 automatic powertrain is intact. ... Is there a Snowcat model?
  3. Yes, especially like how she ends with her voice raised, like you know? I'm guilty of letting "um" or "uh" in. Uh oh, like you know? ? When I was a teen, my dad got really irate when hearing a basketball star in an interview, "you know" interjected in every short sentence. When anyone drops that, I interrupt with "no I don't". I had to point this out to someone, he didn't realize he was doing it, actually unlearned the habit. So, like, you know, isn't that a trip? I flip out when radio talk show callers start off with "listen ...", no kidding Sherlock, we already are, waste of two seconds. Like you know? ?
  4. OMG LOL (where is the 'like' button?)
  5. True. I did that on purpose, just to tee up the drive. I've thought about making a long white stick with red at the end, park next to the sign, and have someone take a picture from behind, with me feeling the center line. Need to find a sign that has DRIVES. Only the number keys are tactile. You can see the screen to the left showing "Do you want another transaction?" One has to go through many screen prompts, starting with English or Spanish, some screens have about 8 choices, the screen showing which way to insert the check is very important to me. And how would a blind person know exactly where that slot is, much less be able to tell which side is up? It must take about 20 times as long, if you're lucky. Don't get me going.... If the purpose is only for ID to vote .... oh wait ...... ?
  6. LOL Good way to tell someone's age, isn't it? Now that I brought it to your attention, guess what? Thanks for trying to explain it. Another pet peeve, seeing how ppl are abbrv. the year. 1984 should be '84, but too many are typing 84'. The >'< denotes the omission of 19. I had a debate with my girlfriend who has a Masters, she had to consult a friend in academia, who confirmed what I said. That's the one time I won an argument. ?
  7. I never knew about this kit! My dad got a '77 CVCC, which I drove into the ground (after they got a gen2 Accord). I have the two Hasagawa kits (unbuilt of course), which don't have the engine. You did a very nice job on that!
  8. I concur with all the comments above, so nothing new to add. People come, and people go, some forever, if you are still bouncing around this forum after many years, then dig up your favorite topics and update as suggested, don't count on the Admin staff to do it for you. Just because something is old, does not mean it needs to be scraped, think RESTORATION. So far, my Flick hosted photos still show up, but that site went through a major "improvement" that pissed many people off, who left for other sites. Be happy we can post pictures directly.
  9. That's pretty cool! I've been seeing the '67-'72 Chevy/GMC big trucks are made into pickups.
  10. I live above the main highway coming into town, now my windows are open I'm hearing traffic more. Not only ricers, but crotch rockets, muscle cars, diesels rolling coal, spastic driving like they're really going to get to the wreck first. I will say the Skyline that lives across the street sounds good. I have several irks in this screenshot. The primary one, who started the thing of putting the $ sign after the numbers? Yoda? I'm seeing it more in the Marketplace ads. Years ago the education system changed the division symbol to a ·, I don't know the reason. But the $, I know the Euro follows the numbers, is this to be inclusive or what? The other thing is how horrible grammar is getting, I blame Tw(Sh)itter, and texting. The other things such as the labor shortage and masks are political, so "no negative comments" about that, I'm on thin ice as it is. ? Oh yea, picking the skulls background, that's just rich. ?
  11. plotted dangerous escape
  12. Very cool tool. Lathes do make a mess, my dad had a large one for doing rifle barrels, he had a bus for a shop. Those look great!
  13. I know someone who is looking for that, great deal you got, from eBay by chance (like 1/100)?
  14. Time and place for such technology. The Mars rovers are the best use of such technology. Airlines have autopilot. I'm guessing ships do, but don't recommend while in the Suez Canal during high winds. Drones use GPS to fly paths while filming construction sites. The recent story of the jerk in the back seat of a Tesla getting arrested, then after release gets another to continue, won't be funny when he takes out a family on vacation. IMO this technology is making some people even dumber, totally reliant on technology to simply exist (as I type on this forum I'm a hypocrite?). I don't live in a crowded city, by choice, perhaps when all those are in their dedicated Lexus Lane it's a good thing. Knowing they want 35,000+ pound semi trucks to be autonomous, to save money on hiring humans, worries me. Can hardly wait for a CME, it will stop this nonsense, and everything else for that matter. Enjoy what we have at the moment.
  15. 15 days from Australia, which is about a month faster than the predicted time, so think shipping is getting back to normal? All I got was photo-etch brake disks, to go with the other parts for the 917. Found on Fakebook, had to get this for some reason. I built the regular version as a convertible years ago. Ok, now I don't need any more models. ?
  16. ? New ATM at my bank, couldn't resist. Who remembers the ads for the first ATMs?
  17. Cool to see one of these kits get built! Looks nice. Did you make the back bumper? My '68 has the 307, didn't know they existed until I researched the block numbers. It purrs but leaks oil, want to switch to a 350.
  18. That's a very nice looking model! Actually a great restoration.
