  1. It's feast or famine for me. At the moment, lost my mojo and haven't done anything for about a month now. But my yard is getting an overdue cleanup, which got ignored when I was putting in several hours at night, sometimes until Midnight, and half days on the weekend.
  2. Insurance company, and the Ugly Teller (who remembers the ads for the first ATMs?). My statement to the insurance company has K W Design, nowhere did it say "drafting service" to put on the check, so the ATM kicked out the check. Good thing the bank was open, walked in without a mask, with an attitude, worked out but now I'm spoiled on the receipt having the check image on it, the human teller can't do that.
  3. Honda Z (N360) resin kit direct from Japan! It was called the AZ 600 Coupe in the USA. I had tried to order from his website, but couldn't figure out how to accomplish it using PayPal. Then COVID locked down shipping from Japan, recently opened up. Contacted Akira Mizorogi on Facebook, he provided great service. It looks like an awesome kit, even by styrene standards. Has a choice of wheel/tires, seats, lenses, photo-etch badges. Has the 2 cylinder too. The spare tire has a p-e strap, plus a jack. But has the RHD dash. Now I need to find the article that I saved from the day......
  4. Looks really nice, thanks for showing it. It's one of those models where I like the subject, but haven't acquired the kit.
  5. I wasn't as lucky as others, wasn't allowed behind the wheel until about 15 years old. Took the picture of the Auto Union DKW before dad sold it, it's on a dirt road that got no traffic. The car I drove from the start was a '77 Honda Civic CVCC, trashed the rear suspension on the berm of a dirt road trying to rally drift a turn. Got to drive the '60 Mercedes 190 sedan with 4 on the tree a little. But the "Deek" is officially the first. Our school didn't have Drivers Ed cars, just lame simulators. Class consisted of watching movies, the classic was Red Asphalt. The instructor liked to hang out in the hallway, and at the right moment kick a steel trash can into the room. ?
  6. Give me a good reason to watch. Been noticing a bunch of videos that are fake on UToob. Not hard to edit, take a new whatever, start with "it's finished" then wreck it. Some people have way too much time (like writing comments on a forum ?).
  7. I've looked at one of these kits at a swap meet, was tempted, but have too many other ideas. This came out nice, even with ghost flames.
  8. I'm impressed! I have a soldering iron for stained glass, would that work?
  9. I've seen a few built. I scratch-built the convertible part, based on a prototype Isuzu did.
  10. You wanting generic gauges? I'll have to look up who makes these if you need the info.
  11. Since this is all new to me, it's very intriguing. Nobody chimed in with 'oh heck ya I would love to c-f decal one of these!' Spaghetti front wing, to deal with vortex issue.
  12. DITTO! Don't think there is a thread, SOMETHING THAT ONLY TOOK DECADES TO LEARN. Measuring a job, used the 100 foot tape measure to get an overall length. Never had it fall between the boards and get stuck like this! Owner had to get his drill out so we could move one board. Told him I wasn't going to charge for this time. ?
  13. Yes. And Brabham's "fan car" which was banned fast as Chaparral's "sucker car".
  14. ? I really tried to be creative, might enter in the County Fair. I hear you guys.....
