I'm jonesing to do this again! Now that we have been in the same spot, let's see if you have been in Moab, Utah. I've ridden the mountain bike on the famous Slickrock Trail several times, for any serious mountain bike rider, it should be #1 on the bucket list. My mom enjoyed the Jeep ride, but after the second day she was done. This was last century, I had one of the first Rock Shox in town, and could sort to trials ride.

Profil 24 Quality question...
89AKurt replied to Ace-Garageguy's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I got their Audi Quattro some time ago now, at least it has an engine. For a resin kit, I guess it's better than average. But have not built it, so can't tell you that part. There are obvious differences with the Beemax kit, far as body goes. -

Love it! I've been seeing more kitbash of race cars and common cars lately.

You could rent a Jeep, trash theirs.

I can imagine! Back when Michelle Mouton won with the Peugeot rally car, I took my mountain bike up to Glen Cove. I cheated and took the Incline, then rode the trail from there. Got to the road just in time to see her and take a picture. Riding back down, it hailed, that was fun.

I digress, was not happy with such a clean interior, so I dusted with tile grout. Also flattened the tires at the contact patches, to fix the 3 wheel problem. *Now* it's done!

I've driven up Pikes Peak twice, one time I was driving a rental Ford Aerostar minivan that had AWD, with grandma, mom and dad, wife and daughters, took a turn with a little gas to see how it took the dirt corner, freaked everyone out. My dad laughed. This picture is where I gave up on Mt. Elbert. The short route, even though it's paved, is challenging, and some people run it!

Does the house have the Historical brass plate? Makes a huge difference if it's registered.

That's freaking AWESOME!

LOL Appreciate you pointing that out! But have to admit, a couple of years ago, wife and I hiked up Mt. Elbert in Colorado, I pooped out about 400' below the summit, she made it. It's a Fourteener peak.

Thanks! Appreciated. Thanks. Yea, I'm sure they aren't the correct size, these were on all the models. I did scrub on rough sandpaper, but kept some tread on. It was, except for the longest turbo pipe. Two parts were not described well in the instructions, the rear halfshafts are slightly different length, and the brake booster needs a locating pin. Fun to start and finish in no time flat. I am wishing that I cracked the dash, and made the seats at least faded by the sun.

Nice to see someone build these! I got the kit from an estate, looked really good, but sold at the GSL show. Like the color choice!

Get an air filter on that! I like the color choice. I know these were going for collector prices on eVilbay, funny they reissued it. -
Love it! I know the kit is lacking chassis detail, so this is a perfect use. You suspended the wheels perfect. When it's officially done, take it out to the woods for photos. LOL

Thanks! Avoids fretting over getting a perfect paint job. More like when gravel flies when drifting corners. I'm a non-conformist, thank you.
