  1. Really nicely done indeed. Thanks for sharing it.
  2. Over the years I have built a total of 6 Cobra Daytonas but after watching this build, I may never post another. ?
  3. Very well done indeed.
  4. Very imaginative and executed. Thank you for sharing it with us.
  5. I have never seen the #25 but I did make my own #27.
  6. Very well done. The attention to the details is very impressive and I really appreciate your sharing your build and finished product.
  7. The rescue of the decals and the build of the Fujimi kit came out very well. Now just a smidgen of defense of the Heller kit. It was the only thing on the market at the time and surely had its problems, especially the fit of the rear bonnet. But we were happy to have it at the time and yes, we did build it.
  8. Yes, the VRM sheet has the 1960 Camoradi red lettering and #4. But not the black on red shadowing lettering. 1960 Camoradi Corvette | Hemmings
  9. Both Cobras are very well done. They will remain special mementoes in memory of your brother.
  10. Actually made some progress with the Cunningham Porsche 904GTS #37. Found the #3s on a VRM Corvette decal sheet for the 1960 LM Corvette. Had painted the body with Tamiya Mica Silver.
  11. Impressive looking model indeed. Thanks for sharing the back story too.
  12. I am impressed with your project. Please keep us posted.
  13. Very well done. Thanks for sharing with us.
  14. I want to join the fun. Olde AJ getting a little sideways dirt track style. The red pipes are novel as is the Mercury label on the sills. Gramps
  15. You are absolutely correct Maxx. Thanks for posting. Photo from eBay.
  16. I did by chance find in my decal stash a Fred Cady decal for the Ford MKIV, a decent #3. Let me play around with that and a #7 and see if I can print those on some decal paper.
  17. After a lot more searching especially on REVS I have come to the conclusion that the circular decal on the front fenders is a Bosch spark plug sticker. I found a Porsche Abarth in the same race with a similar sticker but more detail which leads me to the Bosch conclusion. Now if I can find that number font. Been trying MS Word but no luck yet.
  18. These are pictures I was using that shows stickers on both sides of the Cunninham 904 during the race.
  19. Thank you Misha and Phil for your inputs. The one thing I am missing is the identity of the round yellow decals on the side of the front fenders. Any ideas?
  20. Cunningham 1964 Sebring Porsche 904 GTS #37 Well the time has come, and I have got to get going on this Porsche I promised. The question is which kit to use. And the answer will be based upon the following criteria. 1. 1/24 or 1/25 2. Parts count suitable for trembling phalanges. 3. Bench time available before the deadline. 4. Availability of suitable wheels and tires. The answer is the original Monogram 1/24 kit. I am going to move the build to its own WIP thread so as not to detract from the outstanding work above.
  21. Really an excellent build. Thank you for posting it as it provides inspiration for the rest of us.
