My Jeep Wrangler is famous at the auto shop I go to as the "squirrel Jeep" because it has been in 3 times to have the vapor line from the gas tank replaced after being chewed by squirrels. Finally, I put shiny duct tape cover in tabasco sauce on it and that did the trick.

Looking like really good progress. The posable steering is description and photos were welcome.

Very well done indeed. I wanted to do one but when I got the decals I ordered I discovered Dan Gurney's LM TR was RHD. Yours is an inspiration to find a different entry.

Looking at my GT40 collection it was obvious there were duplicates of the very successful Gulf sponsored GT40 chassis P1075 which won Le Mans in 1968 and 1969. I decided to do some decal work and change two of them to the race liveries of other races which it won using number decals I made in MS Word. 1968 Le Mans 1968 Spa 1969 Le Mans 1969 Sebring Bingo!, dilemma solved. In order: Le Mans Miniatures, Majorette, Thunder Valley, Hachette P 1075 also won 1968 Brands Hatch (#4) and 1968 Watkins Glen (#5) Share your photos of P 1075 if you like and thanks for looking.

Ace, just found this drawing in my files by Dale King of the interior for the 250/275P. Might be helpful.

There has been discussion of doing drawings first. Going through some old files I found these that I did back in the late '70s for my carvings. They are pencil on graph paper and did not scan well. Note they were drawn to 1/25 scale before I converted to the 1/24 scale popular for slot cars.

Back in the '70s I was carving model bodies from fine grain wood and thought of that as scratch building. I think I will stick with that convention.
