  1. This is my choice for a companion to your Barchetta.
  2. Yup. Though the nose looks shorter. Comes with a complete Fujimi donor kit.
  3. Glad to see you have started. The dry fit is a good place to start.
  4. Very well done especially with the colors in in the engine compartment.
  5. Thanks ACE for the link.
  6. Did not know that. Mine do not open darn it.
  7. Hmmm? At first glance I thought there would be a lot of induced drag due to all the different surfaces but I am a nuts-and-bolts kind of guy and not an aerodynamicist.
  8. Will this one be 2015 GT I hope?
  9. Your fabrication skills are amazing. Inspiration for us fumble fingers.
  10. Looking good Dave. Quite a transformation.
  11. FWIW - 1933 Artist 1 unreadable, 2 D. Picot though dated 198?.
  12. This is why I try to find period artwork to use as reference. Thanks for posting.
  13. This is why I have not and will not watch the movie. I would just sit there and get upset with the inaccuracies.
  14. It is simply amazing what you have accomplished.
  15. Looks good. Thank you for sharing it with us.
  16. Rich, Years ago when I built the coupe shown below I had to mix my own paint color. I knew it was Linden Green which is an English Ford standard color in the '60s. This time I went looking for some Linden Green but did not find any, even tried Detroit Diesel engine green and a FIAT shade but those did not work. But then discovered I had some RS60 sitting on the shelf and that seemed to me to be pretty reasonable match with a gray primer base. I don't envy you on your move. Best wishes on that endeavor with your stash and shop.
  17. Thank you Janos and Helmut for posting this unique model.
  18. Besides Mini Exotics others have done this body style including a Monogram Slot Car, Reliable Resins, DDP, and ???. The original Monogram was molded wider than the 1:1 to accommodate the slot chassis and some of the others did not change the width when they repoped it, including this one. Here is a comparison of the transkit with a Monogram body narrowed to the correct width. Jorgen Stendahl did an excellent WIP many years ago, but I cannot find a link to it now.
  19. 1965 Targa Florio Ford Roadster This is a Ford Roadster build using a Mini Exotics 1/24 scale transkit on a Fujimi chassis. The color is Tamiya Pearl Green TS-60.
  20. HAPPY BIRTHDAY -I am afraid I am not in a clever state of mind today, just sincere in wishing you many more birthdays.
  21. Looks so right.
  22. The community has been kind of slow here so I thought I would start a thread on favorite diecasts. My favorite is a 1/24 scale EBBRO Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 of 1973. Everything about this model is above the normal standard. I wish I could get better pictures of the interior and engine bay. Please feel free to add your favorite to this topic.
  23. Super special accomplishment.
