  1. There has been discussion of doing drawings first. Going through some old files I found these that I did back in the late '70s for my carvings. They are pencil on graph paper and did not scan well. Note they were drawn to 1/25 scale before I converted to the 1/24 scale popular for slot cars.

  5. Back in the '70s I was carving model bodies from fine grain wood and thought of that as scratch building. I think I will stick with that convention.

  15. Hmmm? At first glance I thought there would be a lot of induced drag due to all the different surfaces but I am a nuts-and-bolts kind of guy and not an aerodynamicist.

  21. This is why I have not and will not watch the movie. I would just sit there and get upset with the inaccuracies.
