  1. No I can not take credit for the numbers, they are too consistant. IMAGES sent me the transkit and asked that I build it for the box cover.
  2. Tell us more Geno, please.
  3. In the 1970 Targa Florio Brian Redman and Jo Siffert drove a Porsche 908/3 to victory. It was an eight-cylinder spyder based on the 908 chassis. The model was built decades ago and was based upon the Heller 1/24 908 kit with a styrene vacuum formed body from Bill Koons at IMAGES.
  4. Noel, the conversion back to the ACE is pretty easy. Just remove the wheel arches, add the moustache under the grille, and shift the instrument panel to the right. JC and I have both done it.
  5. Rich you have done an outstanding build with this rare kit. I have no idea how you were able to get the pinstripes around the edges of the body to lie down so perfectly. Thank you for sharing the photos with us. Here is a photo I took with my Instamatic at the 1969 Mid-Ohio CanAm.
  6. I am impressed with your collection.
  7. Oh that is nice. Thank you for posting it.
  8. Wow! Great collection.
  9. It has been fun to see this old thread pop up again and the scope expanded to include models which used the original AMT and IMC leaf sprung chassis. 1965 USRRC Revell slot body on an AMT chassis. 1965 Sebring #15 RMP (Japan) body on an AMT chassis. 1964 Targo Florio resin body on an AMT chassis. 1965 Le Mans Lindberg Daytona on an IMC Cougar chassis 1965 Fliptop resin body on an AMT chassis.
  10. Here you go again with these great ideas
  11. This I want to watch closely
  12. Beautiful.
  13. It has taken quite awhile but I am nearing to the end. Today I got the windows in after cleaning up some glue marks. Next will be fitting the rear spoiler.
  14. The announcers seem to have forgotten or never knew about 1976 and the NASCAR Dodge and Ford Torino. Probably still in short pants and sandals back then.
  15. Thank you Phil for this post. I had wanted to bring up Garage 56 but do not have a kit to illustrate the post with.
