  1. The wheels were by Herb Deeks. Last I knew he was still selling the PE spokes but not the rims anymore. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-25-1-24-1-32-Borrani-Style-photo-etch-wire-wheel-kit-convert-4-plastic-wheels/163539862312?hash=item2613bc4328:g:ljMAAOSwaCVcYwGr:rk:1:pf:0
  2. Oh yes, loving it. Please keep us posted as you go.
  3. I am not finding anything on the bay that is affordable for the Hot Wheels. I may have settle for the Johnny Lighting. Randy and Snake say it is "fairly nice".
  4. You nailed it Jason.
  5. Excellent!!! It looks super good. So glad I could help.
  6. Another unique feature of this car is there is an open space where the top meets the rear deck. Do you suppose this was to release air pressure inside the cabin as it did not run with side curtains?
  7. I am not aware of an English version of the web site but my experience has been that Akira is very quick to respond to questions in English.
  8. Now we are talking. Sports cars of the 50's and 60's are my main interest. I can endorse and have used all of the venders above. A new one I have dealt with is from Japan and is very easy to deal with via email, English is not a problem. mizorogiscm.shop-pro.jp. Akira is quick to answer questions, take orders via email, and is a great artist of the things we love.
  9. Terrific thread Dominick, Thank you for sharing the inside scoop.
  10. OK, I am genuinely impressed now.
  11. I only have a few photos of CSX3159 but thought these might be useful. Unusual roll bar. Love the moon eyes on the breather.
  12. I am not familiar with the modern mods but I am impressed with what you are doing here.
  13. Way to go. I think your idea of high windows is a good one. I am planning on doing that with my next garage scene.
  14. I like it a lot.
  15. Can these be the movie camera rigs for the Ford versus Ferrari movie Go Like Hell?
  16. Very impressive. Looking forward to seeing more.
  17. Dang it, everybody has already used all the adjectives that came to my mind when it saw the build. Thanks for sharing, it is an inspiration.
  18. I am interested in seeing how the foam board works out for you. I have used hard board for my projects but it is harder to cut.
  19. Looks great. I am tempted to go looking for one now.
  20. Are those U joints really articulated on the half shafts?
  21. I am certain this one will go quickly (relatively speaking of course) since you have done the research and are intimately familiar with the subject.
  22. David, I want to wish you well on your new adventure. Gary
