  1. Looks very functional.
  2. I have to ask. What is the red and white car in the background?
  3. I posted these on another thread but they belong here. They are the outside spoked wire wheels from Bilingham I bought from Shapeways.
  4. Confiscated in a drug bust no doubt.
  5. I tried brake fluid on one and it took days to remove the paint. Have not tried Super Clean or Easy Off yet.
  6. Finally some outside laced Borrani wire wheels. .7 inches or 17.78mm diameter. Created by Bill Cunningham on Shapeways. Look out you old Ferraris on the shelf.
  7. Looking good Pat. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Really looks nice. Please keep us posted.
  9. Really neat idea and well executed.
  10. Impressive transformation Snake. The wheels alone are a big improvement but the other touches are a real plus.
  11. Mailman just delivered my Johnny Lighting Shelby GT500, Sunday package delivery still surprises me. I am pleased with the model but there were a few things my "advisors" here did not prepare me for. The chassis is diecast too, never seen that before. There are ridges between the stripes on half of the roof and on the trunk, kind of strange. And as already mentioned the tail lights need the bezels picked out with silver. The hood scopes need a touch of black where the stripes are. I like the color, a good Shelby color.
  12. Just curious is all, but did the body not have the scoops on top of the front fenders? Looking at pictures some did some didn't I guess.
  13. Thank you Rex for posting the pictures.
  14. Amazing detail workmanship.
  15. Thanks for sharing the ad and the LeBaron. I recently picked one up too. Makes a great tow vehicle for a trailer.
  16. Great start on one of my favorites. I currently have on the bench the Filipinetti car being built from a rescued first version of the Monogram kit based on their slot car.
  17. Looking good.
  18. Impressive build.
  19. I like the 308 a lot.
  20. I was serious Rich, I think the debris is very appropriate as the 1:1 tires are sticky.
  21. Once again an impressive build Rich. The engine and rear end assembly could be a stand alone display the way you have detailed it.
  22. How did I miss this till now, the Ferrari is outstanding. I like how you sanded the tires and added some debris, very realistic.
