Please keep us posted on this build. I had an uncle who sailed on the Great Lakes and built really great ship models in the winter I am guessing from scratch. I sure hope his daughter kept them or put them in a sailing museum.

Yes. I have the transkit for the Dino but not the decals. Better order them.

The second sheet is a NART sheet due to the emblems and the blue and white stripes but the numbers are a bit of a puzzle. The small logos on the roundels appear to be Dino emblems but I can only match the Dino with the #38 at Le Mans so far. And what appears to be a red window surround would seem to be a coupe and I have no match for a Dino coupe

The Welly Capri is labeled as a 1969 Capri.

I have read where they are 19.99 E in France and come with a booklet describing the 1:1 car but are only sold via subscription or on newsstands.

To quote Tom Tanner (FChat, Scale Designs) on the quality, "Very good quality, I dare say as good as Tamiya in shape. The Vintage Collection have no opening features and are for collectors. Several other model series by Hatchette do have opening features but are still top quality." I have 3 from the Hatchette Vintage Auto Collection of English cars and agree with Tom's opinion. Though the E Jag is mislabeled. I do agree with Ranma that the American selection is a bit strange.

Is the body different from the Otaki 2600? Oops, the Otaki is an RS3600, its early yet.

The mail man was very good to me today! Orders I had been waiting on came in today plus a surprise at Walmart. The Ferrari 166MM Barchetta is by Deagostini In the Ferrari Le Grandi Collection and has been one of my holy grails. The Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Tour de France is by BBurago but had been in the Le Grandi collection originally. I gave up on the 166MM Barchetta transitioning to a BBurago release and spent the money on the original issue. Both of the Ferraris will need some detailing especially to tone down the wire wheels. The Welly 911 GT3RS is a new release and I could not resist it and the Motor Max 2002 Thunderbird was a surprise at Walmart. I am a happy camper today.

It was a kind of Ferrari a day. The MPC Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer had an original price sticker of $3.49 from Cut Rate Toys. The USAIRFIX Ferrari 365 GT4BB had an original sticker for $2.97 from Two Guys. I also noticed something about the MPC kit box that I had not recognized before was the picture on the side of the box labeled as “MODEL SHOWN ACTUAL SIZE”.

I was not familiar with this kit but you sure made it look special.
