  1. Nicely done. I like the monochromatic look.
  2. That Impala is so awesome!
  3. Awesome weathering! I like the way you did the peeling paint on the nose.
  4. Beautiful. The paint in the engine bay of yours is better than the outside paint on 90 percent of my models!
  5. I remember an article in Hot Rod about a drag car with side by side engines in the back seat. It's wider there because you don't have to deal with the wheels. The car apparently didn't run well though.
  6. Way cool! I wouldn't want to change the spark plugs on the inside banks though!
  7. Nicely done! It looks like you could jump in and drive it!
  8. Very nice. The paint came out beautifully and your detail on the dash is very well done. I'm in the process of building it as a base model coupe with a 307 and bench seat. Yours came out great!
  9. I made the last ones out of sheet styrene. I carefully scored the lines into it with a panel scriber, and then curved them slightly. It took several attempts to get the spacing right. I cut the old a-pillars back right up to the roof and cowl. Both a-pillars were broken on this old AMT Chevelle.
  10. Very cool. Ferrari?
  11. That is just awesome! You continue to exceed our expectations!
  12. Sweet! They ran those things with no transmission? Must've been very light!
  13. Absolutely amazing! Your attention to detail is superb. Well done!
  14. Thanks guys for all the kind words
  15. Nice build and gorgeous paint. Well done!
  16. Well done. Just like Ma Mopar should have done it!
  17. Nicely done and a beautiful rendition!
  18. 1:1 dimensions would be a big help. The nice thing about 3d printing in 1:25 is that 1mm equals 1" of real world. The basic shape is not a problem. I'm thinking that the surface pattern will not reproduce in any detail when 3d printed. Resolution is supposed to be .05mm but in reality it's more like .1mm. The resin sticks to the surface and partially hardens. I can probably make the basic circles. The undercut on the back side is no big deal and could be painted with a darker color to add realism.
  19. I've got one from the Dodge, I'll give it a shot. Making the matching sides will be interesting. Is this the 59 Chevy? I don't know where I got it from.
  20. SLA. It's a Anycubic Photon S. Been having a lot of fun with it.
  21. I was playing around with some red resin for my 3d printer and discovered that it can make a pretty acceptable tail light lens. Below are some lenses that I printed. The lens on the right is right off the printer. The slicing process makes a nice set of concentric circles on the lens, which is pretty realistic. The color is a little too pink though. The center lens and the lens mounted in the bezel have a coat of Tamiya X27 transparent red on the back. It approximates the color of a real lens and really makes them pop. If anyone has specific needs, I might try making something other than a circle.
  22. Excellent job. The extra detail is spot on. I saw the 1:1 Grand Am funny car at Gator Nationals last year. I was amazed at how small it was. It must be about 2/3 the size of a stock Pontiac body. If you look at the size of the driver's seat in the model you can get an idea of the perspective.
  23. Come on guys! Is it that heretical? Is everyone in shock?
  24. That phot has some great subject matter for other vehicles as well. Is that a Dodge A100 with a camper shell I see in the background?
