  1. Sharp! That's a good looking model.
  2. Very nice! They look realistic enough to jump in and give that stream a try!
  3. Nicely done! I like the subtle mods because this body style is so nice to start with. One of your best!
  4. Wow! Superb build and photography!
  5. That interior is a model all by itself!
  6. Clean, crisp and great attention to detail . NICELY DONE!
  7. About the purple pond: have you tried renewing the Super Clean? I've found that it loses its strength over time.
  8. Michelle, it looks great. Awesome work casting the body!
  9. Personally I would toss them both and use either Tamiya clear lacquer or Model Master clear enamel. The last model I painted with Testors lacquer took me about 12 hours to polish out the orange peel!
  10. Very cool and unique. I'm guessing the holes would slow it down but they sure are different!
  11. Very nice! Your paint work is beautiful!
  12. Great idea! It's going to look awesome. I'll be watching this one.
  13. Very nice! What scale is it? It looks like you could jump in and drive it.
  14. Unfortunately I don't have access to the model.
  15. I have done this repair by gluing a strip of. 010" styrene in the wheel arch, leaving a little bit sticking out. I then filed it to shape, and puttied the area around it. After a few coats of putty they looked really good.
  16. I'm working on a 3d printed front axle for a 56 Chevy Sedan gasser. I'm away from home on business and can't measure my own model. I need the front frame width at the outside of the frame rails. It doesn't matter which version of the kit you use, at long as it's the sedan. I have both versions of the kit (opening doors and non-opening doors.) Thanks!
  17. X2 on the Charger! That red metallic really stands out. All are super nice!
  18. Absolutely superb! The attention to detail is amazing, and the engine is a work of art by itself!
  19. Nice job, the paint looks beautiful and nice work on painting those very difficult wheels. On your next one, be wary of the mold parting line at the C-pillar (and A-pillar) that most car models have. You can see how the top of the fender is not straight. Take a little extra time and sand and fill those areas. Otherwise it looks great.
  20. Very cool. Awesome bodywork and paint!
  21. Beautiful job with the candy apple red on the Comet.
  22. Very nice. The off-angle photo is very cool too. It adds to the "Outa Control " feel.
  23. This one is a Shelf of Doom build for my local club. It's been on the shelf in various forms for at least 20 years. I'm finally calling it done. Forgive the poor photography, that's still a work in progress. The only AMT kit parts remaining are the body, dash and some of the chrome. The chassis is from the Pro Street Firebird, stretched and narrowed to fit the Plymouth. The engine is a resin cast of the 5.7 Hemi from a Revell Charger. I opted for an A833 four-speed (with requisite pistol-grip) because I didn't have to modify the transmission tunnel to make it fit. Rear tires and the seats are resin clones of the Mickey Thompsons from the Pro Street Coronet. The roll cage is made of bits and pieces from my parts box. 3d printed parts include the valve covers, intake manifold, throttle body, K&N air filter, front wheel dust caps and the exhaust dumps. Comments and suggestions are always welcome!
