Rustoleum paints are terrible.
BlackSheep214 replied to James Maynard's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Well... if sprayed on heavily yeah, it's gonna take a long time to dry. I've always follow the several thin coats rule when using Rustoleum paints or not. I've been using Rustoleum All in One for a few years now and never had an issue with them. Maybe those who used them had a bad batch. I never buy the regular Rustoleum rattle cans. But hey... each to his own. I guess it's because of my decades of knowing how to tame the animal of Rustoleum rattlecans. -
That's one reason I rarely order anything overseas. Unless it's something I absolutely need. 99.9% of the time I don't need it that badly.

Hmmm.... I never had a problem using Rustoleum All in One rattle cans (primer and paint). Krylon on the other hand is pure garbage. -
Trying to fix my son’s eyeglasses where the glass lens go on the eyeglass frame. For some reason the tiny screw will not catch to attach yet they work WITHOUT the lens in its place. WTH?!?! The missus and my son can hear me swearing up a storm in frustration trying to hold the lens in the frame. Looks like a trip to the eyeglass place will take place Friday where he has no classes at college.

The new phone book is here!

We haven't got a new phone book in the last 10 years. Pretty obsolete nowadays. I'm surprised you've got one. -
Bird flu my ***..... It's inflation, plain and simple. Sure the news likes to put the blame on something else. Time to get your head out of the sand....

What to do w/junker 4x4s and Toros
BlackSheep214 replied to Oldcarfan27's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Most aircraft model kits are 1/72 scale, 1/48 scale and 1/32 scale. Good luck finding a 1/24 scale aircraft model kit. Very rare and hard to find. The DHC Beaver is the only one in existence. Even that one is harder to find. -

She was a hot mess who battled her demons enough just as her father had. She’s at peace now.

Needing some advice regarding employment
BlackSheep214 replied to stitchdup's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Sounds like you are a man with many skills. I get it with some of your health issues (anxiety, copd, etc...) but don't despair. Something is bound to fall in your lap. What about a courier job of sorts - not a taxi job mind you. I’m talking about auto parts delivery driver, delivering lab work, home prescription delivery for a drug store, courtesy driver for a local garage, or even a bus driver for a nursing home transporting residents to doctor appointments, etc... -
Heh.... hunting season is over. Nice! What pleased me today? No stupid idiotic drivers on my courier route today... for a change. LOL!

Ugh.... I hated those two-piece tires. LOL! That ‘81 Camaro is a Snap kit.

Wait....$30K !?!? For what? To put up a line to connect to your house? What exactly is the $30K charge on? What difference does it make how far from the last house when you have one 1000 ft from the other direction? I’d go down to Spectrum and speak to a supervisor and complain. Raise a little hell. They don’t like it if done in front of other customers around them.

New York State has Spectrum, Dish, Verizon, and a couple others. NYC has at least 10 choices to choose from. Looks like he’s given up and didn’t take an effort to find a replacement cable provider. Sad really how some folks just throw in the towel so quickly when he probably has a few choices in front of him.
