  1. This is back on the bench. The bed is now cemented in place and the interior has been cut to fit. I will get some pics up tonight.
  2. Very cool. I'll be following this. I have a hot rod/autocross project in the planning stages.
  3. Absolutely true for me too.
  4. Community Built Project. I figure a lot of use are going to dive right in on this kit. We may as well do it as a group. Thanks Bill. That's sorta what I was thinking too.
  5. So this is a chopped top body correct? If so how much do you figure it was chopped based on what we have seen? Man, i can't wait to get this on my work bench. It's going to be a bench clearer just like the roadster. I hope someone runs a CBP. We really should for this one.
  6. Hows this coming? Can we get an update?
  7. Steve, I gotta tell you that I really like this a lot. If you know my work, you know this is my style. The only thing that throws me is the headers glued to the hood sides.
  8. Yep. This works without fail.
  9. Very cool. Are you going to scribe in a trunk?
  10. Very nice work.
  11. Wow. THAT is mighty cool. I love the sporks!
  12. I'm not sure when I'll get to it, but I've got a wicked little Ford Courier pro-touring build planned. With no end date, I'm sure I'll join in at some point.
  13. Hey I'd like to give this one a bump and see if we can relight the fires on this one. I've got another rat in the works.
  14. Thanks very much guys.
  15. Pat, that I6 with the throttle body puts a big ol smile on my face. Great idea.
  16. I have sent a product request in to Slixx. We'll see if they reply. Thanks for the info guys, I'll file it until I can find decals.
  17. There is a chance that I will be relocating to the Boise area before this time, next year. If that happens I will certainly be there. And it will be my first time.
  18. Yep. I'll try to find the G/Ts. So the Sox and Martin GTX is likely my best source for the scoop yes? If I can source the Dana 60 easily I will change it out. Bill, I can't find them, but perhaps I could talk them into it at Slixx. I'm sure I'm not the only person to want to do this build.
  19. And I LIKE it! Looking good.
  20. Detail Master Ignition wire (per their website) is .012 which per this chart, http://www.engineersedge.com/copper_wire.htm, is roughly 28 gauge (wire diameter). Their battery wire is .019 which is between 24 and 25 gauge.
  21. Yes. I think someone on the forums once crunched the numbers and it is technically too big. However I think it looks perfect. For battery cables I'd go at least two to three gauges larger.
  22. Thansk guys. I'll keep plugging away. I suppose I could send a request in to the guys at Slixx for the decals.
  23. I'd really like to build this one day. He here's my questions. Modelhaus has a '66 Conversion kit. Is it for the MPC or Revell '67? Do I have a prayer of getting them from Modelhaus? Anyone seen those Cragar G/T's in a kit? Decals? My searches are coming up empty. And that scoop looks a little different from the one that comes in the Revell '67. Is that a Ramchargers scoop?
  24. All of these are using 30 gauge wrapping wire. Yes. They are a bit out of scale. But i think they look real good.
  25. If you are painting a body, your best bet it to prime 100% of the time. Primer is the acid test on body prep because any flaw you missed will be perfectly visible under primer. If will also fill minute sanding scratches left over from prep. You should have no trouble with the Krylon Maxx. It seems a decent product.
