Looking good. Some bare metal foil on the trim would really improve the realism.

Usually when someone posts something like this I can find some redeeming value in the subject whether it be workmanship or creativity or something. But on this .......................... I .......................I got nothing. It looks like something an eight year old would build with a box of random model parts and no directions.

The best place for those two piece tires, is the trash. I recommend replacing them.

Also if I'm not mistaken, to direct exhaust down and away from the car, rather that rolling up and into the rear window and gag your backwards facing kiddies.

I really likem both. The design of the Stratos has always grabbed me. It's not something I would usually build, but I'm gonna have to get one at some point. Real nice work.

Looks good. But missing the chrome trim.

That's the problem. I've found them and used them but the corners are always rounded and don't look quite right.

If I'm not mistaken it comes with two front suspensions, stock and tubular.

Not that I've ever heard of. Frankly that's something most of us would scratch build. As for the licence plates. Reduce this image, print it out on photo paper, cut it out and add to model.

I've been kicking around a similar idea for a while as the Foose chassis and drivetrain would lend itself for an autocross vehicle very well. Please let us know how that works out for you.

I quite agree. If you put models in a checked bag, that will not be models when they arrive. Find a local, ship your stuff to him with no more than two models per box.

"Fed up with" and "staying focused" are the two key elements for me from your statement. I have found that I get less fed up and stay focused better when I put less customization and fabrication into the model. That's where I get into the most trouble. I hit a design issue, a fitment issue that came out of knowhere, or a "that doesn't look like it did in my head" issue. All those will end up back on the shelf for years sometimes. If I can come up with an idea that inspires that doesn't require a lot of re-engineering, I am much more successful in my modeling. Choosing the right kits plays a big part in that too. Some might think of that as a cowards way out, but to me it's a choice between something under glass and not in a box.
