  1. If it fought you, you can't tell. It came out spotless.
  2. "Sauerkraut on my hamburger" That's a funny analogy!
  3. You sir are a master! In the right photography setting, you could not tell they weren't real. Well done.
  4. I really like this kit! Looks like a fun one. I wish Revell would reissue the Deluxe 23 window again. I really want to build one, but the prices currently are too dear for my wallet.
  5. I haven't found any floor plans for the building, but front elevations are plenty. You can scale an approximate size, then transfer the measurements to the perimeter (satellite map). That'll at least get you the ballpark for the outside. Use the TV show to guesstimate the interior. We know the kitchen is just off to the right. Probably a lobby in the front where the entry doors are. I'm guessing the sleeping quarters are on the left and people on TV never need to use a bathroom. ?
  6. If you're ever in the Los Angeles area and are a fan, a tour is a must. As I live a few miles away, I've taken my kids to the Los Angeles Fire Museum in Bellflower, CA. https://www.lacountyfiremuseum.com/ Then Station 127 in Carson, CA. https://untwistedvintage.com/touring-station-127/ then to Rampart General (Harbor UCLA Medical Center, Torrance CA.) https://shapovmusic.com/where-was-emergency-filmed/. All within a half hour's drive of each other. Irony is that that fire station is close enough to the hospital, that in reality, if it had a paramedic unit, would have actually reported to that facility. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0068067/trivia/?ref_=tt_trv_trv https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency! Jack Webb (of Dragnet and Adam 12 fame) is to be commended for bringing such accurate and quality rescue shows to the television public forefront!
  7. Is the big block from the kit, or did you source it from something else? Beautiful color!
  8. I never realized how much the Sting Ray followed the Mercedes 300SL theme until you did the gull wing doors on this. Now the ideas are exploding! I'm seeing a mash up between the two for quite a conversation piece. Perhaps Mercedes fender brows and single round headlights integrated onto the Vette body? A higher step into the doors for clearance around a full caged chassis. And a hood/grille redo to blend Euro with American muscle. Still pure Corvette with Mercedes touches!
  9. Beautiful job, well done! Color is a good choice too.
  10. This is awesome! And not an ounce of putty. Amazing craftsmanship.
  11. This gives me an idea to make 3d license plates! Looks like fun!
  12. Seeing the grille without any chrome reminds me how beautifully detailed Johan parts are. Absolute art!
  13. Steve, glad to see it finished. Wish I could see more, but I don't do Facebook. Hope you'll come back here soon. We miss you!
  14. It's just a straight reissue of the annual kit. It always had the parts to build "Villa Riviera" since 1965, although to make it truly accurate would take a lot of extra modifications.
  15. I once went to his shop to find out about painting my car, I saw one of his men sanding down a dirty Trans Am to prep for paint and another getting ready to paint a car over a dirty floor. His row of finished cars told me everything I needed to know - I left and went somewhere else!
  16. Since Model King promoted the Tempest, Open Road camper and the Comet, I can't understand why Round 2 hasn't brought these back in so long! Then again, it did take them just as long to reissue the "Wild Hoss" Bronco, so maybe any of them could be just around the corner. By the way Casey, the Open Road is not a "slide in" camper, but a full replacement for the bed. And wasn't there rumours of the Supra coming out real soon? By you, perhaps? Touch Tone Terror would be a nice kit to see, but Round 2 would have to take a gamble retooling the booth and the other accessories as I doubt any of it still exists. And how many of the younger generation would even know what a telephone booth is? The Dodge A100 pickup molded in white would be most welcomed, though.
  17. Maybe they have an inside connection?
  18. Love the car, Chris! I would bet, the albino deer are safest when there is snowfall, who's gonna see them then?
  19. Reminds me of the scene in "Sister Act" where the mobsters are going through the casino trying to find Delores, but keep catching the other nuns, who are dressed just like her!
  20. This shot just needs a guitar in the back, like this picture
  21. Your guess is as good as any. After three queries, he still hasn't told us the size.
  22. That was a beautiful car! Thanks for sharing.
  23. Looks like you've got a jump on some good projects. They all look like fun one's to finish. Keep us posted.
  24. Try finding just the decal sheets from these 3 kits. The Revell kit is probably the cheapest to acquire, because the kit is just so-so. The decals are good though.
