  1. so in order to build a very accurate version of dynos 64, youll need parts from both kits. The motor, traction bars, wheels, tires and misc stuff from the fairlane, the chassis from the moebius. in 1:1/reality, the fairlane chassis is different, the 64/65 comets basically being the same car (though there are differences year to year) BUT Dynos cars were set up differently from 64 to 65 as the 64 rear suspension made the car squirrelly to drive (same with the thunderbolts) Im basing my thoughts on my fathers vast information as a 60/70s ford and mercury drag race historian, getting to speak with drivers from back then etc. and owning my 65 Comet for 27 years. If you need any info, let me know and I may be able to point you in the right direction. With all that said, if 100 percent accuracy doesnt matter, Id say go with whatever fits better at your skill/comfort level.

  14. recently got a partial one in a collection and since I wasnt gonna do anything with it, I sold it. I swear I had the convertible boot in the box but its MIA. Ive torn apart my place, my friend who I also shipped stuff to has gone through that box, and nothing. Regardless... Im on the hunt for a convertible boot, were there any produced in resin? I see resin realm produced a kit, but it seems I cant email them. Thanks

I wish I had been able to sit down with Ken and hash out our differences as minor as they were. I had actually planned to do so this spring once my busy schedule lightened up some
