  1. Ill be sending a link to this over to Dalton. Hes a really cool, down to earth guy. Its also one of my favorite builds hes done
  2. Ive been thinking of digging out one of my T kits but I keep finding other things to mess with. One thing Ive always disliked s how far back the body sits on the frame, which may be why I havent taken one out yet. Ill be watching as I think you have a coll little hot rod in the works
  3. Ill be watching. I just picked up a 4wd 17 crew cab as a new daily that I plan on lowering.
  4. Im late to the game, but its good to see you back at the bench! One of my favorite builders building one of my favorite era drag cars

  7. absolutely amazing
  8. NICE!!! I was that kid haha I still own the car (65 Comet)too, nearly 29 years
  9. where did you get the rear wheel hoops?
  10. amazing work as always Tim. Being born in 79, it was Biffs convertible that made me fall in love with 46 to 48 Ford convertibles. Then once I started reading the Little Pages I was given in middle school, A 3/4 rear shot of Tony Frenns 47 absolutely ruined me
  11. Love it! The rear in the 66 Nova is a dana 60 I believe which is why it probably looks large to most people. The were popular for racing because they came in trucks and high performance mopars. Ford actually put 60s in their early pro stock Mavericks/Comets to help make legal weight
  12. KILLER!!!!!
  13. I dig it! Any plans to cut the rear wheelwells open more?
  14. FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!I would change nothing!!! I NEVER say that haha
  15. i think it needs headers with the blower
  16. SWEET!!! I have one in my stash that Ive been collecting to do my version of a lil deuce. I have a few bigger projects out right now, might be time to dig out a hot rod to mock up
  17. sweet! I plan to build something similar with some of my spares! Your carbs are backwards though on your mock up just in case you didnt know
  18. so in order to build a very accurate version of dynos 64, youll need parts from both kits. The motor, traction bars, wheels, tires and misc stuff from the fairlane, the chassis from the moebius. in 1:1/reality, the fairlane chassis is different, the 64/65 comets basically being the same car (though there are differences year to year) BUT Dynos cars were set up differently from 64 to 65 as the 64 rear suspension made the car squirrelly to drive (same with the thunderbolts) Im basing my thoughts on my fathers vast information as a 60/70s ford and mercury drag race historian, getting to speak with drivers from back then etc. and owning my 65 Comet for 27 years. If you need any info, let me know and I may be able to point you in the right direction. With all that said, if 100 percent accuracy doesnt matter, Id say go with whatever fits better at your skill/comfort level.
  19. beautiful work! My father is a 60/early 70s ford and mercury drag race historian, I love those cars
