  1. Thanks, guys! Dave, nice work on that Mirthmobile!
  2. Nice save! I had one of these years back, it was a fun little kit.
  3. That looks fantastic, nice work!
  4. Thanks guys! Here are a couple more pics I shot this morning. Yes, it was the only way I could figure out how to get that 70s-tastic pattern I drew up all the decals for this build. The white stripes were printed by Joseph at Fireball Modelworks, and I printed the black stripes and the seats myself. I made one big pattern and cut the individual panels from that. The seats were painted white where I wanted the pattern to show up, so I could cut the decals a little large and have any overlap completely disappear against the black.
  5. This was just a quick upgrade to a Jo-Han promo. The paint was in pretty good shape, but the chrome was badly roughed up. So I cleaned & polished the body, redid the trim (and added what was missing) with BMF, swapped wheels & seats with some from my parts box, gave it clear headlight lenses, and did some paint & decal work:
  6. That's pretty cool, I'm not always a fan of the classic "Kustoms" but this one works for me!
  7. You've done some incredible work on a very tough kit - nice job!
  8. That looks great, love the themed graphics you've added!
  9. I have this kit, I'll check tonight and send you a scan.
  10. RMCM == Replicas & Miniatures Co. of Maryland
  11. Looks great, nice work!
  12. Nicely done, I always liked these Buicks!
  13. I haven't tried that exact combo, but I have done the 69-to-70 conversion and found out that it's not just a straight parts swap (also, stay away from the AMT F&F kit unless you want to do some major correction work). The front fenders on the 70 Charger were taller and wider at the front to accept the updated grille/bumper. It can definitely be done, but be prepared to do some cutting, bending, and filling.
  14. Thanks all for the suggestions! I found out that RMCM makes them, based off of the 1970 Blazer/Jimmy kits. I have a set ordered, and they should be here in a few weeks. Greg, I'm putting them on the SBC that will be powering my Deuce of Spades '32 Ford...so they'll be right out in the open. That's why I wanted to make sure I got the right ones.
  15. That looks great, nice work! Is the head rest a kit part or scratch built?
  16. Just got a new one, 1/24 scale from Triple Fighter (Ultraman spin-off):
  17. Kit? Resin aftermarket? Diecast car? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  18. Great job on a rough kit, that turned out fantastic!
  19. Thanks, guys! Yeah, but the trick is trying to get a picture of it!
  20. Thanks, Bruce - I think I may actually have that one.
  21. One of these days I'd like to tackle that one, this one was inspired by the car I was driving at the time What color did you use for this? I've been looking for something close to the VT green for an upcoming project.
  22. Very clean looking, nice work!
  23. That's fantastic, great idea and a great looking model!
  24. Nice work on this, it turned out great!
  25. Some awesome work here! A couple of mine: Well, then, this counts
