  1. That's awesome, nicely done!
  2. Very clean work, that looks great!
  3. Looks great, nicely done! This kit has always eluded me, so doubly nice for me to see how it builds up.
  4. Looks awesome, and great story to go with it!
  5. I'm still experimenting, but right now I'm using a combination of AK Interactive colors and Tamiya's "Weathering Master" G & H sets.
  6. This is great, both a fun and cool idea plus excellent work putting it together. Dig that covered wagon, too!
  7. Nice to see one of these done, it came out great!
  8. Very clean work, that looks great!
  9. Thanks! Sorry, that was poorly phrased on my part. That one was built from the AMT kit. I had meant TV/movie-themed diecasts in general, because I keep seeing a lot of high price cars out there that are all perfectly straight despite the subject and it never looks right. I have also banged up a diecast or two, though!
  10. Thanks! It was a lot more work but just seemed necessary to get the feel of the movie car. Although I normally have no problem with diecasts, it's their one major shortfall - you never see the appropriate dents on cars like this, the Deathmobile, the Blues Brothers Dodge, etc.
  11. Beautiful car, the '69 was always my favorite and it's even the right color!
  12. Excellent job on the restoration, it's great to see one of these in "original" trim! That was my understanding as well. Horizontal pleats in '59, vertical in '60?
  13. A few more that I've done: A-Team Beverly Hills Cop Cobra Duel Evangelion Ford v Ferrari Ghostbusters 2 Hot Rods to Hell Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade Jurassic Park: The Lost World Knight Rider Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro Mythbusters
  14. Awesome work on this, everything fits together like it was always meant to be.
  15. Looks great, nicely done! Also, glad to hear I wasn't the only one that couldn't get the tire transfers to cooperate.
  16. Looks great, nicely done!
  17. Excellent work! I keep meaning to pick up one of these kits, you've shown how good it can look. It was Love the Beast. I'm usually not one for documentary/interview-style movies, but had to buy this one after watching it. I'm sure it was entirely because of the subject.
  18. I briefly had a Cavalier kit, if it was any indicator of how this started you did a fantastic job cleaning it up. Beautiful job on it!
  19. Very clean work, that turned out great!
  20. Looks good, nice to see one of these built up. I have one to be started (hopefully) soon.
  21. Very nice! The color looks perfectly suited to the lines of the Ford.
  22. Always good to see this one built, nice job on it!
