  1. Beautiful work! I do wish these were more readily available, it's such an interesting look.
  2. Very nice!
  3. Excellent work on the weathering, that looks great!
  4. Thanks, guys! A quirky combination of impatience and bad luck - some sort of model building blind spot, I guess. This one didn't escape entirely unscathed, either. That rocker trim you mentioned? I would have sanded it off like I did with the fuel injection scripts, had I been looking at the right reference material when I was doing the parting seam cleanup. I only noticed my mistake after it was painted, and I wasn't willing to go back and redo it at that point!
  5. Awesome build, that definitely qualifies - it looks like it's going 200+ just sitting there!

    Nice looking build!
  7. For some reason, I've not had much luck trying to build '57s - from AMT or Revell. They've all ended up abandoned, parts-boxed, or technically finished but unspoken of. So I decided to give it another go with Revell's snap kit, and in an effort to keep me on track I tried to keep it as close to box stock as possible. I switched the wheels for a set from AMT's kit, which worked well since both use metal axles, but otherwise it's just paint and BMF. I'm still not 100% satisfied with the results, but I'm not outright annoyed by it either so I'm calling it a win.
  8. ? As an almost 40-year TF fan, that's perfect! Drift looks good, nicely done! I haven't picked up any of these kits yet, but they do have a cool look to them.
  9. Another one of those cars bought as part of a lot, this one was in prettty good shape so I didn't do too much: painted trim and interior, new badge, and a set of wheels from Hasegawa's 328GTS. It's an older model so there's not a whole lot of detail, but it looks good on the shelf. A "before" photo I found on eBay, for comparison:
  10. Nice clean work, that looks great!
  11. Very clean work, and that blue looks great!
  12. Fantastic color, the Chevelle looks great wearing it!
  13. Awesome looking truck and great story to go with it!
  14. Nice, it gave it a great finish.
  15. Very cool! I'm curious about the color, too. It does look a bit like Tamiya's Pearl Green.
  16. Glad this got bumped, awesome work!
  17. Looks great, I had a blue '84 back in the day.
  18. Very cool, nice to see it looking so good all these years later!
  19. Very clean work, that looks fantastic!
  20. Thanks, guys! I still want to do more of these, pretty much the same want list as what you've got. The Revell Cadillac came out around the same time as the Simpson's Hit & Run game, so that became my initial push to start working and remains my unofficial checklist of cars. The Canyonero will be one of the next ones I do, as soon as I find the donor kit. I want to use one of Lindberg's /120 scale Explorers, since it's a good boxy shape that'll be stupidly oversized next to the other cars.
  21. Thank you! I had built the previous F&F Chargers, and was so sure we'd never see a replica of this one - so of course Jada did a 1/24 diecast shortly after I finished it. ?
