  1. Nicely done, that's a tough kit
  2. I'd say it was worth the effort. I made a similar effort on an Ertl General Lee many years ago, and while it was "OK" it still ended up being one of the few models I parted with. I decided that any diecast Chargers I got would be kept, warts and all, and if/when I want something better detailed I'll do it in styrene. Good idea using the non-acetone, I'll have to keep that in mind...I have a NASCAR Camry that needs a little more work on the hood to get rid of the old UPS logo, that may do it. Thanks! If you haven't yet, you may want to contact Round 2 directly to find out about Greer's history there. I sent them an e-mail regarding the City Slicker and they were super helpful not only answering my questions, but providing a little background as well. Their marketing/PR department seems to have done their homework, so they may be able to give you more info.
  3. Thanks, this was tribute to box artists. Don Greer did the art for MPC's City Slicker, with supplemental work by James Hood. I did, the extra detailing really helps the old Charger - nicely done! How did you remove the hood deco? Any time I do, I usually use alcohol with a final polishing to get rid of the outline, but that would have made the hood shiny.
  4. Thanks, guys!
  5. Beautiful work, that looks great!
  6. Awesome job on this, the whole thing from fabrication to decal work is outstanding!
  7. Nicely done, the Camaro looks great in those colors. Like Keith, Root Beer is one I haven't gotten but I may have to rethink that after seeing this build.
  8. My most recent Charger...
  9. Very clean job on this, the Tudor Sedans have always been my favorite of the fat-fendered Fords
  10. Very cool project, and nicely done!
  11. Thanks, guys! You and me both - the S30s were always some of my favorite designs.
  12. Nicely done, the Z looks great in that color.
  13. Fantastic work on this, the colors look great and I like the subtle touches like the CF interior panels.
  14. Beautiful work on both, those are some great looking cars!
  15. Thanks, guys!

  18. Nice and clean, that looks fantastic!
  19. From the manga Wangan Midnight, the starring ride built from Fujimi's kit. Mostly box stock save for an upgraded engine, interior flocking, and a lower front ride height to give it a more aggressive rake. Paint is Tamiya TS-51 over black. More info is available here, and as always comments/criticisms are welcome.
  20. Very cool, those scratch built blowers are brilliant!
  21. Somehow I missed this thread earlier, awesome job on the Impala!
  22. Cool ride, definitely captures the spirit of the time!
