I am still working on this one!? The sprue goo I had really softened up the fenders and caused me some grief.? I mixed up some fine white Milliput to fix the drivers side fender. Then I noticed there were pin holes where the front piece meets the fenders, so I gouged that out and added some half round styrene for filler. I got that all relatively smooth then scribed the troughs for the .020” fender welting that I intend to add. And I finally got a first coat of primer on it.?

Nice project, and good progress so far. I take you are 3d printing this all from scratch?

Yeah you don’t want those flying off into the carpet!? You could make a loop of sewing thread through them to keep them from disappearing.

So that sealer says “seals primed surfaces”. Does that mean it is not a primer and you have to use a primer first under it?

Once the paint in the panel lines is sanded enough to prevent chipping the surface coat, any scribing tool can be used. Caution required on the curved corners though.

That looks super!? I imagine there is some wet sanding (can you wet sand water based acrylics?) and polishing involved….any clear coat?
